I work on a corporate offices and we always have BF and X-mas eve off. They also close the last week in December (we get pay for that week).

My BF was great this year. This year I went with my niece because she wanted to experience what it is a Black Friday, she is 12 years old. I was at JCPenney at 4:10am, got my snowglobe and bought two items it took me about 20 mins. Then I went across the street to TRU, I was in line at 4:35. I bought 3 boxes of diapers for $10.00 ea and 3 boxes of wipes for $5.00 ea. out of the door in 15 mins. Then, I went to Staples, I was in line at 5:30, the line was short I got few things there, it took me about 20 mins. Then I went to Target, my God, that was a mad house around electronics and toys. I was able to get my two items and out in 15 mins. After Target I went to Home Depot to get the 2gal. air compressor in and out in 10 mins. Then I headed to the mall where I had breakfast and finish my shopping. I was home by 10:30am with all the items that I went to get. My niece told me that she had a lot of fun and she will do it again with me next year.

Go to Home Depot for the air compressor at $59.99 6. Go to Target for one item 7. Go to Sears for one item 8. Spend the rest of the day at the MALL - JCPenney, Bath and Body Works, etc. I bought my two big items already, so I don't have to be at the stores waiting that early. I bought the $298.00 laptop at Walmart and a 32" LCD HDTV at Costco for $399.99

The hard copies are on the newspapers on Thanksgiving Day. You should go early to buy them because they are gone quickly. I usually go to the supermarket around 7:30-8:00 to get them. I buy two different papers to be sure that I get all the ads.

I think that I have my plan of attack: 1. Be at Khol's at 4:00am for the binocular at $8.99 2. After Khol's go to JCPenney for the snowglobe, in and out (be there between 4:30-4:45) 3. Be in line for Office Depot that opens at 6:00am to get 4 items 4. Then go to Home Depot, also opens at 6:00am to get the 2gal. air compressor for $59.99 5. After Home Depot go to Target to get some items 6. Go to Sears to get one item 7. Then spend the rest of the day at the mall - Radio Shack, JCPenney, Bath and Body work, etc... I don't need any big item on Black Friday because I got the laptop at Walmart for $298.00 and bought a 32" HDTV at Costco for $399.99

I guess that you just had bad luck with RCA. I have the RCA HDTV 52" that I paid $487.00 or so at Walmart in 2006 and a RCA HDTV 26" for $329.00 in 2007 also from Walmart and those TVs are going strong. No complaints of any kind, the image is very bright and clear. I love my two RCA.

The one at Kmart the brand is Element. Costco has a Westinghouse HDTV 32" for $399.99, that is the regular price. I bought one on Saturday they had total of 6 and by the time that I left the store, they had only 3.

Kmart has their November 16th circular available in their website with some items at Black Friday prices.

Not in my city. I saw only one store in the entire state of NJ and it is too far for me.

I'm really lucky, I have to travel only 4 mins. I have the mall with JCPenney, Sears, Macys, Disney Store and other good stores. Outside the mall it is Target, BB, TRU, and Walmart.

Do you know how much is the % off? I live close by that one.

I do stockings, I hang them on top of the mantle (fireplace). I have 10, my kids, grandkids, Son in law, and husband. I put them up on Black Friday, after I'm back from the stores. As we are buying stuff, we are filling them. We buy candies, socks, body splash from BBW, gift cards from Burger King, Blockbuster, Target, etc.. and scratchies. We open them the night of December 23rd.
