I guess My definition of "shortly after Midnight EST" is different. The press release does state EST. though Brads post states PST.

Am I reading this correctly? The $199 x-box bundle will be available only online? it does say only at walmart.com. I guess I will have to stay home and hope to order online. Oh I figured it out there are two bundles in the add, one with kennect, the other without. I really don't like this add at all.

Sleet and Freezing rain overnight. Not sure I will bother heading out this year, nothing I need that badly. I can take the cold, but sleet and freezing rain take the fun out of it.

I had decided that Staples would be my only stop, Got the monitor, seagate external drive,the ups and a chair for my mom. I forgot to get the blank media, the glossy paper and the batteries, but will go back in a couple of hours. I picked up the 3 blu-ray disks i wanted via amazon. The staples staff was great, they had people running around getting items for customers, I always have good luck at staples!

Please come to ME, we need your tax $.

Oh on a side note, this morning I picked up two of teh $229 Gateway netbooks at bestbuy; now my niece and nephew will be happy, I could have perhaps got a better buy on BF, but now i can get sleep instead.

The smaller drives solid state drives. Solid state drives are faster, more stable and consume less power. I use my hp mini on the road and often have to run on battery, I chose a 16 GB solid state drive; It is really easy to use my external passport drive when I need more storage. It really all depends on what you need your netbook to be able to do.

The Staples ad excites me, the portable HD, wireless printer, some of the blank media. This is a very solid ad for staples. I am also lucky to have two staples in my area, I have never had an issue getting an item on BF since the second store opened.

BF of 2005, I was able to get the HP Laptop from Walmart; Luckily for me the Laptops were not actually in their electronis area, they had them next to the jewelery counter. I got a ton of use from that Laptop; and after I used it for 2 years plus, I upgraded the ram and hard drive and gave it to my niece for her to use, she still uses it today. I think the reason this my favortie item is because it was the first item I purchased on a Black Friday (prior I thought all of you were nuts), and now I go shopping every Black Friday!! I can't wait for this year, just bought my first house this past summer and there are still many items I would like to have.

I too have searched the ads several times and found nothing. I will head out around 8:00 am and see what is left

The real issue for CC has been their locations, they seemed to over expand into less then desirable spots. BB seems to be more careful in their expansions.
