I've called 8 Kmarts from 1 mile to 30 miles from me and not one of them are open on Thanksgiving What gives?!?

I believe it was like 5pm on Thanksgiving night, you had to go to their website. I could be wrong but that's what I remember.

They come in the Thanksgiving day newspaper inserts which the stores get Wed night. I've tried getting the store to give me the paper on Wed and they won't. They say they have strict rules from circulation not to put them out until Thurs.

Yes it is and I just called them to verify for you and told that they are not open WTH?!? When I called before they said they were. Must of been thinking of BF.

Hi Vern, I live in RI also, the one in S.Attleboro, MA is open on Turkey day. I live in Pawtucket and that's only 5 min from me.

I used to work Thanksgiving day and I loved it. You get paid more and what the store did that I worked at was put up a sign up sheet a month in advance and you "volunteered" to work on Thanksgiving and put what hours you were willing to work. A lot of people who don't celebrate holidays will work and I chose hours before of after dinner time. Its all part of working Retail. My sister works at Home Depot and they have a blackout for BF, sat and sun. Nobody is allowed to take those days off. Everyone works.

What stores have layaway besides Kmart? I would like to put a LCD flatscreen on layaway but do not know of any stores besides Kmart.

I have Best Buy and Toys R Us right next door and across the street is the mall with Sears and Macy's so....I get it all! I'm still going to miss layaway though

I got my daughter the Yasmin one. They sold out at my store too but I found one sitting in an aisle. I didn't plan on getting one because I knew they were a hot item, and wasn't going to stand in line for it. I got out late, about 5:15 and was lucky to find one. People were asking me where I found it. My daughter is going to be happy, she loves Bratz.

He was probably stammering because they were probably bought by employees before BF. That's what happened at my sister's store. By law I guess they are required to have one on the floor. Don't think its right but it happens. She said the Managers bought them.
