I try to keep the $$ amount the same - but it's really hard to do!
My 3 are 4.5, 3.5 and 1.5 so it is more important to me that they each get the same number of presents and that their 'piles' each look the same.
Each is getting 15 presents (including 1 big gift from santa that I will not be able to wrap), plus 1 joint gift plus stocking stuffers!

The Bill Me Later is actually for a credit card thru Citi Bank. Great deal, but I do not need another credit card....
Yes, it is a line of credit (no actual card though) which is why I said the $15 would be credited back on your next statement. We do not carry any cc debt - but I do have a couple credit cards (and this 'line of credit') for deals like this! LOL! Great deal, but only if you go and pay it off before interest rates kick in

We are slowly adding to ours! This year, we are adding those lighted candy canes up part of our driveway. And I don't know what else we will add! I need more decorations outside... but I don't want to spend a ton (which is why we're slowly adding... lol)! I LOVE decorating for Christmas. I am thinking about taking my lighted village collection and putting it on the tops of my kitchen cabinets. I just have to figure out how to run the cords and all that!
ANYWAYS, LOVE your decorations!!!!! I don't know what I would change or add - I love it all!!!!

be careful! the colors effect the price the green one is $59.99, the blue one is for $24.99. other then the color i don't see any differents.
Yeah, when I first put the blue one in my cart it was $29.99... when dh got home later that evening so I could show it to him to see if we wanted to get it for a nephew (and we did... lol) it came up with a message saying it had gone from $29.99 to $24.99. And I saw that the pp who had mentioned this had bought it at the $29.99 price...

Thanks for the deal! I also found the Tyco R/C N.S.E.C.T. Robotic Attack Creature - 49MHZ - Blue for $29.99 on Amazon.com. I bought one last year when they were $39.99 on sale and gave it to my DS. He loves that thing! The whole family enjoys it. I am picking up another one for my other son so they can play with them together. Both are good deals where they are usually priced between $60 - $99.
The Tyco R/C went from $29.99 to $24.99. If you ordered it at the $29.99 you might want to call/email amazon and get a price adjustment

I hide everything in our basement in boxes. The kids big gifts I usually put behind the boxes to 'cover them' up!

Butterscotch is on my daughters list this year. There is a new 'version' coming out called Smores. I showed it to my dd - but she prefers Butterscotch!
We saw the Fur Real Friends Parrot in Walmart a few weeks ago and it scared my youngest daughter! Poor thing was screaming and my oldest said, "We don't need that"! LOL!
I have thought about getting them the fisher price smart cycle as a joint gift, maybe. But I'm not sure if we need something else like that. We have a VSmile system and lots of games - and they rarely play it.
Last year we had a TMX Elmo under our tree - and I paid $34.99 for it. I should have put that one on eBay too!!! The kids haven't played with it since Christmas! LOL! It just sits in the playroom on a shelf!

My kids do! At Christmas this year they will be almost 5, almost 4 and almost 2!! This year is going to be SOOOOO much fun!

Santa will bring 3 gifts... including each of the kids BIG items. We will do the rest. This year, I'm trying to keep the total count of gifts under 20 for each of the kids (NOT including stocking stuffers... lol)! Plus one joint gift...

Every year we go to the mall and get the kids pic taken with Santa and pay the $5 for a picture.

My dh usually has to work until around 2 on Christmas Eve. It stinks - but it's his job! He always gets Christmas off (most people are not that lucky...) and this year he will have the day off afterwards.
We have a get-together/gift exchange that evening with my moms side at our house! Works out nice because I get it all clean and nice for that party - and after everyone leaves all I have to do is pick things up and vacuum!
My little brother and his wife (just married this year...) come over at about 11 and they help us get everything out for the kids and put together and set up! It's a lot of fun!

I go way overboard on my kids. I do manage to stay in my budget but after EVERY Christmas I think, "Okay - next year I'm going to make a SET number of gifts and when I find them on sale I SAVE the extra..." and then I always end up spending the extra on more stuff that I find for them! LOL!

We do all white lights outside. Although, we have 'talked about' changing it up this year. But, I think we're going to stick with the white ones, like normal...
