Slightly OT, but-- how much fleece do you normally use to make one blanket (like a throw size blanket to cover up with while watching TV or put the kids on for a nap)? Just wondering how much it would cost me to make 3 or 4 of these, for my mom and nieces...

I use 2 1/2 yards per side for one blanket. I have to make 7 blankets this year. YIKES!!!!!

We are out the door at 3am since we go to a different town about 30 minutes from home. We usually are shopping until 3pm or so. I budget about $600 to spend. I have to save some energy for Sat too since we get up early and hit Joann Fabrics for the BIG fleece sale.

 

Ok...just talking about this is getting me excited and it's only August.

We are traveling down to Disneyland from Oregon next week but I don't know much about the hotels in Sacramento or Stockton. I would like to not spend alot of money for only a 1 night stay. I was thinking around $100.

There is one in Minnesota. It is in Albertville. I was on vacation last year with my sister and we found one up there.

At the Target in Eugene Oregon....the 9 inch portable DVD player was gone in 10 minutes. Thank goodness I got one of those.

We shop till we drop!!! We usually leave about 3:30am and are home around 3 or 4ish in the afternoon. My sister just moved back from MN to OR so this is our first Black Friday together again in 6 years.
