  1. DS12 & DD7 are Jan 2, & 3rd...We always have a family party for them on one of the days, we rotate the day each year to make it fair, well as fair as it can be;) Then later on in January they each get their own indivisual parties w/ friends after the holiday stuff is out of the way..so far no complaints from them!!:)
  2. I have the car issue myself :(--- and our carriers never get out of the truck if cars are parked in front of my mailbox. (I have witnessed them driving right past, and I ran outside trying to catch them..)

I tell everyone I know not to park infront, but I cannot control visitors/friends to the other people who live on the street not to park there. Very frustrating.

Not to be mean, I am sure there are tons of wonderful mail carriers --just wish I had one of them...

I was a mail carrier for years & dh still is & all the "rules" & "laws" that have been mentioned are technically true..but I've met very few that abide by them....Like the blocking vehichle, they tell us it's a safety hazard to get out & deliver but seriously what's the difference in getting out to deliver a package or certified, ect.... I almost always got out & delivered w/ a few exceptions...The $ limit for X~mas:eek:...Whatever I worked w/alot of carriers that had been there forever & they were bringing in thousands of $ during the holidays, alot of their customers gave them $100 bills:eyepoppin As for the being around a mail receptacle, I think it's been said too but I think it's just to cover the USPS butt, we had a incident in Indy where the driver backed up & ran over a old lady..she lived thank goodness & if i recall it was the governors mom:eek: Technically were not suppose to go in reverse..so the driver was wrong too!! Obviously these last rules were made coz the LLV's do have horrible blind spots!!:yup:

  3. Gymboree for dd, it's expensive but I always always buy on sale/or w/coupon & I love the fact that you can mix & match everything from each line..I try not to buy things that only go w/one thing!! & the biggest bonus their resale value gets almost all your money back!:D

For the boys some Children's place I love their jeans, they are the only ones that really fit right... They wear alot of sports stuff so I usually hit up Kohls for that!! I'de put them in Gymbo too..but they hate it..Too babyish:tongue1: I'm gonna check out crazy 8 here soon we just got one, that may be more their style......

  4. They should be handing them out in the store, I got one in store Sunday & in the mail today. If not I'm sure they'll give you one..just ask!!:)

  5. My kids all still go, we have a time frame in our town, usually 6~8. We just go around our neighborhood but there are alot of churches that have the trunk or treat around here too, I personally do not like to be driving around on halloween night..too many kids on the streets so we stay right here, golfcarts are a big mode of transportation in our neighborhood, it's kinda neat!!:)

Oh my oldest is 12.....& YES I agree as long as you dress up it's all good!!

  6. yep we've always done them & my parents still do them for everyone, But I find it harder & harder doing the boys w/ the exception to my dh..his is easy & prolly the one I enjoy filling the most:cheesy:
