My daughter usually writes out a list of items that she wants. It's funny how the older kids get, the number of items that they ask for decreases, but the cost increases. Sometimes I miss staying up all night putting together the stuff that Santa brought her.

I have about $400 saved so far, hope to have more by BF

A Christmas Story Christmas Vacation Elf Also,when I worked @ Wal-Mart, we had a TV playing Jingle All The Way over & over in the department. I must have seen parts of that movie a dozen times. Never did see the entire movie all at one time, Just bits & pieces. :)

I have never even thought about price matching on BF But I will definitely look into it this year!!

A friend of mine told me he was gonna buy a few of the new Playstations and sell them on eBay. I told him to buy the Tickle Me Elmos to sell. He laughed until I showed him one that sold on eBay for $150.00. He didn't laugh anymore.

I keep the ad for the store I'm at in my back pocket for comparison, my money in 1 front pocket, cell phone DL, and any gift/credit cards in the other front pocket. I leave my wallet @ home or in the car - don't want someone to "accidentally" bump into me from behind and steal it.

This will be the 1st year that I get a bonus to use for BF. Usually I have to put back money for it. Most of the time I wait until the last minute to start saving, as if I don't know BF is coming!

I usually go to a couple places to, so I'm home around noon. Last year, I only went to Wally World to get a couple things, and then I went home and back to bed

Hey!! I'm in NC. I've been BF shopping on & off for about 12 years or so. Didn't really pay any attention to it until I started working retail back around '92. I just didn't see the benefit of fighting the crowds for a few items, but with age comes wisdom.

I go alone because I usually only go 1 place and pickup a couple things, and it's just easier for me because I don't have to worry about losing somebody in the crowd. Maybe I'll get the wifey to come w/me this year.

I used to love working BF at Wally World. Just stand back and watch the crazy people fighting over all the deals! Of course now that I no longer work there, I am one of the crazy people fighting!
