For BF your best bet would be to go across the river into Sanford near the Seminole Towne Center Mall. There is a Walmart, Target, Best Buy and a bunch of other stores all within a mile of each other.

We dont put anything on the credit cards. We shop until the money we have is gone. In years past we would just max out the cards.

I don't understand it, but to each their own. I would go on a trip for the holiday then w/ your daughter. Then you can both enjoy the holiday together.
I have to agree. What about a trip to Disney World. THey go all out for the holiday! Disney world could be her gift..she would always remember the Christmas she was 8.

I got ds#2's teacher gift already. I got her an organizing utility tote with the poparazzi dot print with a N on it for her last name. I ordered it at a thirty-one party. My friends who are teachers at school have one and LOVE it. They all thought Mrs. N would love one too. I also found a Florida State Seminoles recycle bag It will be as her gift bag. Ds#1 is in high school and it is so not cool to bring your teachers gifts.

I look at trees in stores to get ideas and put some ornaments on and then step back and look if you need to add more, or move some or there are empty spots... and keep doing that until it looks like you want.
This is what I do too.

We have Xbox, PS3, PS2 and a Wii. For his age group I would do a Wii. My boys are 10 and 17 and love the PS3.

We only buy for our boys and parents. We set a limit for the parents it has been any where from $25.00-$100.00 depending on the year. Ds#2 is 10 he still loves getting gifts under the tree. Whatever we spend on him(I keep all the receipts and then add them up)we get ds#1(17) a visa gc for the same amount. Last year was the first time he wanted it that way and he loved it. We took him shopping on the 26th and he got to get exactly what he wanted plus he got good deals on stuff.

I have made my own using a scrapbook program and then sent them to Walgreens(or was it CVS??)to get printed.

A dear friend had a white tree and she decorated it in lavender and pink. She kept it up all year long.

My Mom did the same thing. I also do it too..my boys are 10 and 17 and they love it too! :)
