  1. Well, I spent nearly 3000.00 on black friday last year at walmart. The money i spend this year most definitely will not go there. If they are ashamed of their ad, then they should kick it up a notch. there's nothing wrong with a leaked ad then walmart supplementing those ads at the door with additional items which would make them even more competitive. if walmart was smarter with their marketing, they would leak a couple items every other day or so, to keep the excitement building as well as choke out the competition. but their heavy handed tactics may backfire..........................
  2. We picked up one of these 150.00 deals too, there were only three available in our stores. we thought we were going to be assaulted for it on the way out, but we did it. it works great for browsing, watching dvds, listening to music, homework.
  3. I got started with the furbies, in 1997 or 1998................hooked ever since
  4. Outside waiting I take: blanket, hand/foot warmers, lawn chair. Inside: fanny pack, gum, ads, credit card, tylenol, water bottle...........
  5. KMart 7am Thanksgiving, make final decisions for sales on Thanksgiving afternoon, making calls to all the shopping buds to determine who will be where..........Then between midnight and 2 am me and dd head to walmart, gather all of our price match items, find where our door buster number 1 and number 2 items are, get there to wait. Then out of walmart by 6:20 am and line up at Target. DD gets cart and waits by register, I scatter thru store, grabbing stuff to throw in cart. Then she lines up as I am grabbing the last few things and were out before 8.
  6. I will say Ace also, with the minor retailers, and I would say of the major retailers CompUsa or Walmart will leak out in mid October. The CEO of Phillips has already mentioned some deals with WalMart as has Apple too.....................................
  7. spirit does run some good specials, i've seen $8.00 one way

  9. from another source Harbor Fright ad In Stores I was handed the BF ad at HF yesterday. Store opens 7am. Can't say there is anything thrilling if you shop usual sales. SS tool chest (only 5 per store) $250 top 91468, $300 bottom 91469. Biggest percent off: 40115 pneumtic stapler $14 (80% off) "coupons" 47770 6 pc screwdriver set $1 94009 1000 w power inverter $70 94000 Framing Nailer $50 94629 Floor Jack $40 93840 Shop Crane $98 95094 14.4v drill $10 4095 reciprocating saw $16 93543 Pocket digital scale $10 The only thing I haven't seen every other month (in ads) is this oscillating spindle sander 95088 for $80.
  10. Target hasn't price matched here in at least three years, and it really hurts them I think. Target is the preferred store to wal mart because it's more compact, better layed out and only slightly higher. Not price matching kills their sales on black friday. Mine sales alone are usually in excess of $1000:cheesy:
  11. You know on BF people actually are quite rude equally to all, including preggos. They sure don't whisper when they criticize the preggo for being out and they don't hold back with the cart crush...........
