I hate telling people what I want because most of the people that I have known for a long time, and that includes family, are not as well off as we are and I hate saying ohh this or that looks nice and knowing that some of these people had problems making there mortgage payment last month. Worse is that people ask me what to get for my kid, 3, and the truth half the time I don't know what to get him because he really does not voice what he wants other then books, which is what i usually tell people. I know bitch about your kid only really wanting books am I nuts.

one of his big gifts besides the little einstiens stuff is one of those kid kareokee things that hooks up to the tv.

the pat pat rocket was purchased for me in another town because there was none in my town.

MY son is three years old and he has several delays do to medical issues. He has been into Disney Little Einsteins since it came out. That is until recently he has been turning of his tv and saying "no want done." Now his father has cough him several times looking at his Little Einsteins books but when he asked where is rocket, he promptly closed the book and said "no want done" My problem comes in we got him the two playsets and a pat pat rocket for Christmas. I don't know if I should give the items to him and hope he likes them or if I should donate them or if I can return them to target without a receipt?:confused:

I am curious as to why you do not like plasmas. I am not a tech person but my hubby is, and in the point of honesty we own 2 plasmas. If your prejeduice is the whole origanial thing that the plasma wears out I believe that problem was solved with the second generation on the technology.PLease let me know either on this thread or in pm.:)

i got another 6 cards in the mail today and my ss... WEE HEEE lumos .... I see that it is a harry potter calender and a red velvet bag.

wow it sounds like everyone is getting some great stuff... I have been receiving a steady stream of cards, and am some what patiently waiting for my ss and ornament.

they are stuffed animals but there is also a code on there tag and u can go to the website and put the code in and have a virtual pet online.

i think on the 8th it will be on again because it says a night of classics

i say tis the season for giving and if in about 9 months time there is a new member in there family you can just get an additional chuckle:cheesy: out of it.

cool i dea for the cards.... we put them on our tree which stems back to our frist christmas when we did not have money ornaments.

last year we did a 20 dollar gift card to walmart.... i think we are the only people we know that do this. Any thoughts on gifting the drycleaners? ours are really nice and walk you to your car with an umbrela when it is raining.

smarties in the states and smarties in Canada are different...My hubby and 2 sep daughters are canidian, lived there for 2 years and my son was born there. If you really want to get something neat may I suggest clodhoppers. By "dirty santa" do they mean naughty?

all of my presents are wrapped and on my ebay shelves ... even when they wernt wrapped everyone jsut thought it was more stuff I was ebaying.... tee hee

ok this is something that i know about(alot about as we spend anywhere from 2 to 4 weekends a month at hotels) OK can U haggle ... Yes, and you can do it when u book no matter how far in advance. If you work for the government in anyway you get a discount( Id required). Also some companies have hotel discounts so you might want to check in on that. If it is a chain and you ahve stayed at another one of there hotels but not this one talk them up about how u love the chain and would love to stay there. Mention the price is a bit much. Also check with your cc sometimes they offer discounts if u use there card at certian hotels. Also you can always ask if there is a mailing list you can get on or if the person knows of any groups that get a discount.... never know when that random human society membership that cost you 15 bucks is going to save u 15% on a hotel(just an example)
