Gaming magazine is currently unavailable due to overwhelming request.
Does this mean that if you already requested it that you won't get it? Or that you can not request it if you haven't already?
-
Has anyone gotten their magazines yet? I don't know if I am early asking this or not... I think it takes awhile just can't remember how long..
-
Ok I did it. Thanks for the info....
-
Has anyone done this and if they have what did they put for the company and position? I would like to do this, but do not want them contacting who I work for. I work in a state position.

as brad said in the original post, we will probably not have scans up because of past legal issues with OD in the past.
Why in the world would they threaten legal action over this??? Maybe they think it is something better than it is...I know in the tradition of Christmas they think that it really is the thought that counts....>LOL....

I would imagine that sporting goods (footballs, basketballs, kickballs) would be good. Wal-Mart has bikes for $25 and Razor "S" Steel kick scooters for $16.88 in the new ad. All in all I am sure that anything that you could get would be greatly appreciated...

I just found out my brother is playing Basketball too. He played football this year too. I don't know if this helps with a gift or not. I just don't know now. Went to visit him the other day and could not believe that his voice has changed. I must be getting older or maybe he is just developing quicker. Yah thats it....I can't think that I am getting that old yet....

I don't know if she likes to write or if she can. But you could get those stamps that you can put pictures on. I haven't been to the website to check on price but that might be a memorable gift....Also pre-addressed envelopes.

Also one thought since she lost all that weight. What about those Glamour Shots type of things. She could get pictures to give all her friends and family that she hasn't seen in a while. But even if the Glamour Shots is not her thing just a regular studio to do the photos would be good. If you have enough you could even get her a day at the beauty shop too. Then the pictures make a day of it and have a dinner to. She will feel like a star. As of course she is.

But one thing that I would say you might want to get a book on how to make mixed drinks.
-
I was at the store the other day and I saw some bottles of mixed drinks. I think one of them was called the blue hurricane. They looked good. Sorry that I couldn't remember the brand name.

Not sure if someone already said this but, Play-Doh and the color wonder things are good. Also the Aqua Doodle toys. They are all easy to clean and take care of if they get spread out. The only one that is a little hard is play-doh and that you just have to let dry out.

Hey, if you go to WM Site,
http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_constraint=2636&search_query=headset&ic=24_0
they have a whole list of headsets for various systems. I was just on there... my DS has a PSP and a PS2, so I'm torn on which to get. I"m gonna look for one that is Universal, if they make it? (Hoping to get my hands on a ps3 on sunday.)
I will do that thank you.....

Yes, ex: if ds says fire they will shoot, if he says stand down they will not shoot, if he says return to base they will return to base. It will do alot more voice commands but I can't remember tham right now.
You have to use the regular controller as well it's not a voice only game.
Thank you technology just is so impressive these days. That sounds neat...

The price for the Playstation 3 looks pretty good. Must be a typo...

Yes, one headset will work on all compatible games. Circuit City has one for the Xbox for $19.99 http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Microsoft-Xbox-360-Headset-882224035323/sem/rpsm/oid/138270/catOid/-16534/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do It can also be used for online games as well through the XBox. I don't know if they make Socom or Madden for XBox but I am sure someone in the B&M store could help you find games specifically for the headset. If I were you I would try to stay away from the ones that are online play due to your brothers age.
Sorry to be a bore but, can you actually control the game by telling it what to do?

I looked in two Wal-Marts near us and all I saw were beat-up cacti in the little Wal-Mart near us. The other one is a supercenter and I didn't see anything like the blitz stuff anywhere. All I saw was the garden stuff and Christmas decorations. I will keep looking.

IF he already has a PS2 and the Madden 07 game.. from what I hear you can buy this head set, where you can yell in your plays to the computer. I think this is really cool, and will probably get it for my 11 year old DS.
I'm thinking its probably about $50.
Is this the same as the SOCOM headset? Also does it really get your plays for you? Do they have one for the Xbox? That is what he has.
-
My ds has a headset that he uses when he plays his Socom games it drives me nuts. He already is bad about talking to his games and I am all the time telling him to be quiet well when he plays those he has to talk to them I swear it makes me want to pull my hair out.
Do you know what it is called?

How about make your brother a gift basket with a game or two, a few of his favorite snacks (oreo's, gum, favorite soda's) a new hoodie or a sweatshirt with his favorite football team a pack of socks and a cap.
This is a good idea because he doesn't get money for himself. So getting him his own snacks sounds good.
-
If you have enough money maybe you could fill the case. Or you could just put a few in the case and then wrap the rest. That way it is not just a box but also has cars in it. So if he unwraps that first he is not dejected.

sorry - dd is what my boys call dunkin donuts - they love to go for the coolattas - which are almost $4 bucks a pop - so when they get one its a big treat!
Oh ok. Sorry about the question. I guess I just don't get out enough....LOL:gdcar:

Another thing is maybe if you could get a box for something like a PDR or a VCR. Then take a piece of cardboard and tape those magnetic letters to it and put that in the vcr or pdr or such box. Then you could always ask them as they open it if they needed a new VCR or DVD (you get the picture).

One item that a family member gave us one year was a brick spray painted black with the words "Hillbilly Bowling Ball" on it.
