  1. Just got back from Wal-mart here and bought a 6 1/2 foot prelit tree for 29.97 I figured if I don't like it, I'm not out a ton of money and I can just buy another one for next year at the after Christmas sales.:)
  2. We usually put ours up Thanksgiving week-end. However this year, I need to purchase a new one. I got rid of our old one this summer....it was too big for our new home. Does anyone have the prelit ones? I am looking for one, about 6 1/2 - 7 feet. I still can't decide if I want colored or white lights though. Any ideas would be very helpful, my dh just says "whatever you want dear".
  3. I get up first and put in the Breakfast casserole. Then the family all gets up and opens the stockings and checks to see what "Santa" has brought. We have breakfast and afterwards open the presents under the tree. After showers we hold a "fashion show" to see all the clothes that we got.
  4. A few years ago I used an old non-working dryer that we had in our basement. (just hadn't gotten rid of it) and they really held alot of toys. My kids had no clue.......they don't even want to touch the laundry room door now and they are 10 and 13. But alas we have moved and will have to get real creative this year.......
  5. Has anyone noticed the eyes of the Baby Alive? I think they look really funny. I "envied" my friend for having this doll when we were little. But my mom refused to buy her.
  6. I still have my Barbies from when I was little.......a lonnnnnnnnnnnng time ago. My daughter played with them and we added all of hers to the "pile" and I guess will save them for any grands (which better be at least 10 years away). LOL;)
  7. Here is a coupon for Bronners you can print http://www.bronners.com/storecoupon.html edited to add: Don't forget your camera, you can take pics in Bronners
  8. I love Bronners! Grew up not too far away from there and it was a yearly trip that was made with my mom and sister. When we were stationed in MI, my husbands command would always have their awards banquet at the Bavarian Inn, we went and stayed without kids....what a great time! Check out Bronners website for coupons. Also if I remember right there is a Frankenmuth webpage that offers coupons to many of the stores/places too. Have a great time! :)
  9. Thanks for the welcomes! I need to find time in my day to check out the rest of the site......
