  1. they did have packages in the clear packaging that said body jewerly. They were studs vs rings tho if that helps....lol
  2. You all know those earring places in the mall…Claire’s Boutique or Icing well they are owned by the same company they do this clearance sale that is awesome!!! They mark their clearance down usually 50%....the sale goes as such…each item is priced as marked however you can buy 10 clearance items it is only $10!!!! I asked the girl when they do this seasonal, etc. because I stumbled upon this deal a few years ago and again today, and she said they do this every so often. I got the following: Each of these had one pair of earrings on them: -$6.00 -$8.50 -$9.50 -$6.00 -$6.00 Each of these had two pairs of earrings on them: -$14.50 -$14.50 -$14.50 Each of these had three pairs of earrings on them: -$8.50 -$6.50 The original total would have been: $94.50 Regular clearance price would have been: $47.00 EXTRA special bonus clearance price I paid …..only $10.80 (with tax) Woohoo!! I love it!!! They had all kinds of stuff.... hair accessories, phone charms, scarfs/necklaces. I just got the earrings, cause they were nice and not cheesy looking;)..lol Check your stores!!
  3. Yep I had the same issue at the Wal-Marts here... they are less than 7 miles from each other. It was for diapers.. there was a $4.00 difference... they wouldn't price match either. Gave the excuse that they are going by the surrounding areas... I said your other Wal-mart IS in the surrounding area.... no luck...Oh well... we just shop at the cheaper one.
  4. OK I called 2 local stores...and got the same answer. They have the totes in stores :)..I'm headed there tomorrow!!.......About the flower deal you Buy any 2 enchanted orchid full-size products .... you will get a voucher to go online and purchase the flowers .... she said they will probably asked you for receipt number to provide proof of purchase.

  6. Target already clearenced theirs all out awhile ago... it was really cheap also. I was going to buy it just to sell it on ebay, but at the time their was a bunch of buy it nows for $9.99. So I guess others had the same idea as me so I passed.

  8. Well I spoke to the store manager Ellen. She was shocked at how I was treated and she personally apologized for my treatment. She thanked me for calling, as she can’t not be there 24/7 and needs to know if things like this happen. She said I should never been talked to like that. She said she was also upset at the cashier, because she said that an associate should not have even taken it that far. Since the discrepancy was under $20, there was no reason to argue with me and they should have sold it to me for the $4.99 and then change the display. They are not to go back to the section and confront me/the customer. :) During my conversation I said how we shop this store often, and how I feel they don’t deserve my business. She pleaded with me not to take our business elsewhere. She assured me that I would never get treated like that again. Sarah will be talked to, and discipline action will be considered. We ended the conversation on a good note.:) So after all that I do feel better…..Thank you for all of those who supported me:D and let me rant!! Jessica
  9. I totally understand about products get misplaced, I too have worked retail. However the item was physically bolted to the shelf by a Target employee, so it could not have been misplaced by a customer. It is just the carelessness of Target and their employees. My gripe is no longer about the seat and price. I am upset about the way I was insulted and treated.
  10. The store manager won't be in till after 3pm. I don't know if I will call, since my kids will be home then. The rep at corp. said she was filing a complaint against the cashier.
  11. First of all….to just to clear things up. I have no issue with the fact that the cashier had a bunch of piercings. Just a bit surprised. I have piercings, and a tattoo, HOWEVER when I am at work I display a professional appearance. Some will find that extra piercings and tattoos, while even though very popular, are still frowned upon within some companies. I just thought that Target was one of them. Second of all... To all those who made negative comments...it not that I am trying to “scam” Target…. geesh!! Why don’t people drop that? Comsumer price are going up in general do to the economy, not ONE $15 difference. I sure hope none of you have ever questioned a price before. Ok I talked to corporate. I explained to the rep Betty, about my experience, she was appalled about what had happened to me and apologized profusely to me. She said that is NOT the way the employees are trained. She said she was filing a report about the cashier/manager (Sarah). She then transferred me to a specialist. Kay was also VERY apologetic. She was taken back by the way I was treated, and what was said to me, but agreed with the Sarah about the price issue. She said she will look into this and call me back, but since she was there yesterday she doubts she will be there today, but I will hear back. About 15 mins later the phone rings and it was Kay stating she called the store and spoke to a manager (Moe), and had them check into the price of the seat. Kay stated that the Moe said there was no tag there saying $4.99 at all, and there are not any seats for $4.99, it must have been a clearance tag. I was floored. :eek:I know what a clearance tags looks like and the yellow and white shelf tags are NOT clearance tags. I asked Kay if there are not ANY seats for $4.99, then how were they going to sell me the some plastic one for $4.99. She said she didn’t know she was in Memphis. So right there proves that Target was wrong with the placement of the tag and display:no:… otherwise WHY change something if it wasn’t wrong!!!! I told her fine if it was $19.99 fine, but at what responsibility does Target have to insure there merchandise is marked and displayed properly by their EMPLOYEES? At this point I don’t care about the stupid seat. I was upset about the way I was treated. Kay is putting through a formal complaint against Sarah, for the verbal comments she made towards me. After I talked to Kay, I called the store to see who the male manager was. The operator was very nice, she offered a whole bunch of info. I come to find out that, Sarah isn’t a big manager at all…. She is only the cashier/front end manager. Ellen is the store manager, and said she will be in tonight. The operator strongly suggested I talk to Ellen, because what Sarah said was totally inappropriate. I’m just tired of the whole damn thing. I guess I will just not give that store business anymore, if they don’t care about their customers. Its sad cause word of mouth travels fast around here.
  12. First of all I probably shouldn’t even waste my time responding to your comment. Obviously you don’t understand the situation. It’s not about getting a friggin toilet seat for 75% off. It’s about customer service, and responsibility!! First of all, this particular seat was BOLTED to the shelf with a price tag of $4.99. When I took it to the register it scans for 3x that amount?? If you went to buy something KNOWING it was one price, only to get to the register to find out it costs 3 times more you would be ok with that??.. . I think not. I have been trained and worked in customer service for a retailer. There had been situations where an item scans wrong. But because we value our customers, and want them to be loyal to us, plus we also know there is human error at times, we would at least honor the price!!! It’s called customer service. Secondly, it's more about the way the cashier/manger handled it. She didn’t have to insult my intelligence or question literacy. I asked her a question and she ignored me, She stomped her feet, and gave an attitude. I’m sorry I don’t care who you are, nobody deserves to be treated like that.
  13. My littleone was there so I didn't want to make a scene. Otherwise I would have gone off;). I told hubby I was thinking about closing our Target accounts, I am that pissed. However I am torn I really really like the Super Target by my work:yup:, and they are so awesome at that store, I get GREAT grocery deals there. I just hate this one near the house. We will see that corp says... Ill keep you posted.
  14. Thanks guys ... I'm glad it's not just me. There is no name listed, but I have my receipt with the associates number, so I will check into this. However I find it funny that a regular cashier would just leave the register and walk back there with me. Oh well. My hubby was laughing at me.. he said he would hate to be the rep that answers the phone at corporate tomorrow, they will get and earful...LOL
  15. I normally don’t do this but I’m so mad! We just had our bathroom redone, beautiful tile floor, walls, the works:D. So now for the fun part…shopping for new décor. My youngest and I hit up Target first. I love finding deals there and I ALWAYS have a great experience, well that is until today! While I was shopping for accessories, I decided to change out for another toilet seat. They have hung displays and the shelf tag and extra seats are behind the hung display. So I found one I like. The display was a plain white seat, metal hinge (not brushes nickel either) no details, no scallops, nothing. The display was hung and under it, the shelf tags said basic white seat, $4.99 (there were about 4 left on the shelf and where all the same). I was huh, nice price, considering I bought the previous seat (EXACT SAME ONE) at Meijers for $10.99 a few years ago. Any ways, I looked the others and the tags matched up with the other seats….wood tag under/ wood display….dolphin tag /under dolphin display…..brushed nickel/under brushed nickel ….. soft tag /under soft display… see the pattern here…LOL so I was on my marry way with my $4.99 deal:yup:. I get to the register and the cashier was nice I had over a $100 bucks of decorations….. oh yeah and some Valentines clearance...LOL She scans the seat and it comes up $19.99:(.. I was huh? I had her check it. I told her the DISPLAY was the hung there and the tag said $4.99. She walkie talkied some associate to check it out, and bring up the one that is $4.99. The employee brings up this cheap piece of crap, that WASN’T even on display:yuck:!! I said OH NO… that was not the one on display. The cashier got very rude at that point. Her words were “well I am NOT giving this one to you at $4.99, because people move things around.” Ok, I used to be a retail supervisor, so I know customers switch things around, and I can understand if it was in the wrong place, but the display was HUNG there and the tag for it said $4.99… It was NOT this cheap one that was hung there with the $4.99 price tag either. She said I don’t care I and NOT letting you have it for $4.99, I asked her can I speak to a manger , she said I AM the manager, I said then can I show you what I am talking about, she got all huffy and said fine. She stomped back there, my little one had to run just to keep up. We got the displays and I showed her, the one I bought was the SAME one on display and it was clearly marked $4.99, Her comment was “It was not the right tag, and I should learn to read”. I was SHOCKED:eek: I had never been spoken to like that before. I kept my cool:gdlicklips:.. I showed her how the OTHER tags were corresponding with the displays. I said I understand customers move things, but HER employees hung the displays, and HER employees placed the tags, so I customer couldn’t mess with that, and if her employees made a mistake it’s not the customers fault. She claimed the tags were for another product, I said ok where? cause now the other seats that WERE there mysteriously disappeared. She said I don’t know. I then showed her how the other tags matched the displays. She said she didn’t care, and that I was not getting it for that price. If I had any problems with their displays I can call corporate. I said ok. On the way back up to the front she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted the $19.99 one... I said NO, I can get that one for $10.99 why would I pay $19.99. I just paid the bill, and left. I did stop at the service desk for the number I will call it tomorrow I had work tonight and didn’t have a chance. The thing that gets me is how rude she was. As a manager, she had VERY poor service skills. Another thing, not that is mattered, but stands out now, she had WAY too many piercings. I have nothing against it, but for a manager it was a bit excessive. She had her eyebrow, above her lip (like a beauty mark), nose, some bar through the front to the back of her cartilage on the top of her ear, about 4 up the ear on each side, and HUGE hanging earrings . I thought when working retail, you could have ear and all others had to be covered. Now when I reflect I wonder if she even was a manger...LOL Anyways I’m calling tomorrow. I think it was very poor customer service. The funny thing is this Target is located BETWEEN Wal-Mart and Meijers, so I don’t need to shop at this one ever again. OK OK OK I understand it is only a measly $15 difference, but now it’s principle:gdparanoid:….do not misleads your customers, and then when the customer calls you on it, you disrespect them and insult them. NO WAY!!! I was so temped to return all the items just for spite, but the candy was yummy;)...LOL GGRR….. thanks for letting me vent!! :fluffy:Needless to say I was bummed after that, and just came home, I will go out tomorrow, my day off.!!   16. Yeah I saw that and got excited, until I saw it was for the PS3....ho hum...still waiting for the Wii extra guitar. I was to be out 1/28/08..now it is pushed back to 02/22/08.
  17. I have heard alot of neg things about these chargers. So we just bought a regular AA/AAA Engergizer battery charger.....that way we can just swap out the batteries and continue playing... we don't have to wait the any unit to charge.
  18. woo hoo I just got back from my Target and after Christmas everyone was buying the Schick Quattro Titanuim gtift set with the MP3/IPOD docking station... well I held off and glad I did. My store had them marked down to $3.48... YES I used the $4.00 coupon, and better yet it took off the entire $4 bucks. LOL I bought 3.. so I got an extra $1.56 off my total...:DHee hee Another awesome deal .... the Sparkle 8pack of paper towels were marked down....some said $4.41.....but a few were marked $1.48... I was like HUH:confused:?? So I grabbed 2 didn't want to grab more incase it was wrong.. didn't want to look fishy:cool:. Well I also had a 0.50 cent coupon off. Wel of course when I got tothe cashier the scanned at $4.41, but she gave them to me for $1.48... then the 0.50 coupon....LOL I got 16 rolls of paper towels for $1.98...:eyepoppinLOL I almost couldn't conatin myself...LOL They had a bunch of the bulk items marked down also. I got the DOUBLE boxes of cereal for real cheap. My neighbor was teasing me (her and I are freinds) about me going shopping again.. I said ..BUT look at the deals!!! She was WOW you are alwasy so lucky..LOL Hubby was shocked when I got home, over the deals. I told him what my neighbor said and I asked him do I shop too much ( I started to feel guilty:o)....he said no not at all... you get awesome, and you have so much fun doing it. Just wanted to share my deals!!
  19. Rayman 2 ......is a bit hit Big Brain is fun...we hold competitions Mario party 8 is a huge hit cause we can all (4) play at the same time. Mario Olympics is fun then of course there is Guitar Hero 3... Uhm.....I think our house is about to wear out our guitar... we LOVE that game!! The DS 7 is awesome..LOL

  23. Yep.... mine was on the 24th... cutting it close, but they came out beautiful, my parents LOVED them!!!!
