well with us...my boys will be getting 8 wrapped presents and approx 10 items (cologne, misc. small trinket toys etc.) in their stockings. ds16 has a 369 dollar class ring that has to be paid off by feb 10....so no gameing systems this year.
he understood and said he would rather have the ring. we got him things like an alienware backpack, an ipod docking radio thingy, weights..etc. and for ds18 a barney guitar, magnadoodle, a snazzy radio/cd player, dinosaurs, etc........thank goodness for amazon! :):)

i personally find what she did rude (jmho). you had what i consider a thoughtfull list....i like being surprised by what the person giving me the gift "thinks" i would like. know what i mean?
well, at least she will be getting what she asked for this year.

ok, finally was able to get stamps. our furnace went out a week and a half ago so i had to use my "stamp" money to get space heaters...and had to wait for dh to get paid again :) .....so my first batch went out in today's mail and the remaining 20 will go out in the morning.
i have gotten sooooo many beautiful cards from everyone! i put them all up on the fireplace (across the mantle and on the face of it. ) running out of room fast though LOL :):) and i figured out my ornament buddy (im pretty sure) Thank You again! :):)

i checked again on UPS site, and it shows that my ornament was delivered last wednesday on the 5th, but my person hasnt posted to say that they got it...hhhmm...?

i noticed that on some usernames just underneath the avatars some of them have "i'm banned" .....does that mean that, that person is in fact banned or they are just being "silly" and putting that themselves. just curious. :)

just received my ornament...which had a couple of extra things as well! i really really like TSO! and long story short, ds16 is a big fan as well, which gives he and i something to continue to bond over (which is so important to me considering his age) i just think that is such a nice coincidence. we were talking about TSO just a couple of nights ago(thats when i found out he is listening to them in music appreciaton class). so no....not a crappy ornament at all LOL :):)

i didnt grab the link because its the same dang story only in jonesboro arkansas.... they ran a two night story on folks stealing from donation boxes. makes me sick!
so glad you brought this up ameyers. makes me wonder how my life will be if/when i have to go to one of those places, we havent 'adopted' a person from one of our local nursing homes yet, but im looking into it.

i put mine hanging from my mantle....although with the amount we all are expecting, i dont think all will fit! LOL...gonna have to find another cute place to put 'em :)
