  2. How would someone think this processor is good??? I majored in computer science and all I'm telling you is, this deal is not that good. One person above asked is this a good deal? And my first reply was to that person, everyone has a right to their opinion, and I'm not telling you to buy it or not to buy it. This website is gottadeal.com, and this deal is not a good deal. If someone you are talking about thinks Celeron and this deal is the greatest deal, then here that person should buy this one too

ya know.... you are thread jacking there mahyar....im sure your very proud of yourself for majoring in computer science....that being said....you definately should start a different thread to discuss the system you are talking about. you are entitled to your opinion there is no disputing that, but please do be a bit more respectful to others when stating such. there is no need to try to insult someone because IN THIER OPINION what they posted is a good deal. :):)

  3. i sure do appreciate your responses.... :) i wanted to check with fellow gottadealers... i want to make sure i buy from a reputible place online :):)

wow...i was jusst looking at thecandlesource.com...and they sure do have good prices!

i really hope i get the hang of this candle thing....i really like them...i just dont like the prices we have to pay from stores and such, and i love making things. :):)

  4. well, i have the wax and all of the other stuff for candles, i just need to find the fragrance oils. not really making them to sell, i just dont like having to pay so much for store bought candles, and i want to give it a go.

how do i know if a retailer on the PP store listing is ok to buy from? do i go by how many people have bought from them?

i googled "candle making supplies" and found several reputible looking sites, i guess im just being overly carefull.

  5. I was wondering where are the best places to buy crafting and related things (candle making supplies, frangrance oils, dried flowers etc,) here online? I looked at Amazon, WalMart and even on the shops spot on PayPal, but i just dont know which is the BEST place to buy from since I'm relatively new to buying online. Which retailers take PP? There is a list on the PP site, but I'm just not sure which/who is reputable, and i was wondering if there are more online retailers who take PP but arent listed on their page.

Any imput would sincerely be appreciated! :):):fluffy:

  6. Because the internet is so open and public, people do not consider any possibility of violating a copyright law if they take something and use it as their own.

Sorry that happened to you Miranda...people just don't think....

but is it violating copyright laws? (taking someone else's text when posted in an open public forum, and passing it off as your own) im still a bit confused by that.

  7. Thought it was about time I introduced myself:

I am Darla. I live in a college town (We are.......Marshall!). I am almost 43..Feb. I have two rug rats DD 21, and DS 16 and a 30 year old BF (almost 31) lol, a dog, a cat and a fish tank with three fish I don't want, but can't flush, that I inherited from my DD. I love cats....and television. Been married and divorced, couple times (3). I am a home body, but I do like long drives (aka rides, I hate to drive) and fishing. That sounds like a sorry singles ad for "Lowered Expectations" on MADTV. Help me Jesus!

im not sure if you intended your post to be so funny, but its just crackin me up!!! welcome! and see ya in the lounge LOL:D:fluffy:

  8. i had no idea last year that this part of gottadeal was even here. im so glad i wondered over here this year. i will always treasure all of the cards and the ornament i received. next year i want to get in on the SS exchange! i dont want to get long winded (as i so often do LOL) so ill just say that im so grateful to each and every gottadealer for making this such a great holiday. :):):)

and EVE.....thank you so much for putting in your time to do this for the site and us. i (and i know everyone else) really really appreciate your efforts in making this all go so smooth. (well, as smooth as possible lol) ((((((eve))))))) :)

  9. yep im relieved...and satisfied. :):) everything went just fine, no knots in any stomaches or teeth clenching etc...LOL...all was so peaceful. (we stayed home and just stayed away from all of the drama) this was the first year that ii didnt stress, or panic...and i want to sincerely thank each and every gottadealer for just being there. offering opinions, guiding folks, and extending their kindness in so many different ways.
  10. You could tell her that you already got some things for her kids, and you really want them to have them, so she could give them the gifts herself. If she really feels obligated to do something in exchange, tell her she could watch your kids while you shop, or help you bake cookies, or whatever else she could help you with that wouldn't cost her any money. That way, the kids get the gifts, and she gets to keep some dignity.

    i agree :):)

i was also going to suggest the 'secret santa' thing...but if the dude pitches everything left in the hallway...then...well...guess that wont work. :)

  11. 3 years ago, i was cleaning out my garage....i had my "piles"..... the trash pile, keep pile and the christmas pile (old trees, boxes of broken ornaments and such).....well, my dh and son misunderstood me, and pitched ALL of the boxes in ALL of the piles (except for the keep one, i put that pile away myself)......sooooooo, 3 years ago i lost all of my children's chirstmas ornaments and little things that they made in school. 3 boxes filled with my "xmas treasures" GONE!!!!! they thought i meant all boxes marked xmas, not just the ones set off to the side. i cried HARD for a whole week, and the last couple of years its been so hard for me to get in the xmas spirit because of that. although i still lament for those things, it was a little easier this year to get "in the mood'. i know that i only lost 'things' and i still have my boys, and health and all that stuff....but dang!! moms, dads, grammas, you understand where im comming from. those little trinkets were irreplaceable. i still get teary just thinking about it. what i did do was get some pics from each age they were and made little ornaments to "fill in" for the ones that they had made, but it just isnt the same, i want back the ones they made with there little hands.

has something like this or something similar ever happen to any of y'all?

  12. im sorry your cat "did in" your tree.......

im laughing so hard though! i just wonder what goes through their minds as they are distroying our things LOL.... our kitty (fluffina) was 'head bobbing' at our tree when i first put it up this year...so i had to use the water method....i get a squirt gun with cold water and she gets it when she got near the tree....broke her from going any nearer than 10 steps away :):)
