    Glad you all were able to find the heads-up useful. It's my favorite sale. I bought way too many purses (although there were lots and lots of D&B and Coach - I wasn't there for those) and way too many pairs of shoes. I like to hit as many Dillards as I can. For me its the thrill of the hunt for a good deal! Glad I am not the only one!

    Yes, that's what I'm saying. Why is it you think that comforters can only be used in winter? People use them all the time, or at least leave them on the bed during the day and then may only use a sheet or light blanket at night in the summer. I am sure there are still some people who have summer and winter bedding that they change out, but most people I know leave the same ones on year round and simply add or remove blankets underneath it.

     

    They separated the girls & boys bedding on opposite aisles in most of our stores, so if you are looking in the same aisle as the boys stuff, that may be why you aren't seeing it.

     

    They cleared out the Speed Racer, Spiderman & Hulk stuff because they'll be making room for whatever new licensed bedding is expected to be popular with whatever new movies are coming out.

    I'm sorry to take exception to this, but IMHO there are plenty reasons that they would/could be clearanced by season. Very often these change in color by season, fall, spring, winter, and also thickness etc. I don't even live in a cold place and I have seen it. I don't think there is anything wrong with asking the question understanding that many people like different things depending on the weather.

    Gosh I am just so excited. Let me tell you our life changed so much in the last 6 months. We went from 2 kids to 6 kids. I can't wait to make this day special for them and for us. I want to include all 6 kids and make it a coming together day for us. I can't wait I can't wait. we are just waiting on the court date now and to sign one more paper.( or 4 lol since we are adopting 4!) we now have kids ages 9 9 9 10 11 14 ( 15 this month) BTW I am 30. You should see the looks we get when they hear my son is 14 almost 15 and that I have 6 kids HAHAHAH

    I have been married 24 years and have had approximately 4 complete correlle sets. Every piece of it has smashed in millions of pieces. I called them and they sent replacements for a while, but I won't do it anymore. The shards are too small and sharp like needles and you can never find all of them. It was too dangerous for my kids to have in the house anymore, I have went to Melamine type plates.

    Be careful with Melamine - they are not safe for the microwave!!!

    Thanks ordered lots of great things on clearance... including a robe and nightgown that I am VERY excited about! I realized I had put in quantity two for the robe and also missed using the coupon for free shipping. Called and they took care of it right away. Great Customer Service - these are definitely the stores we should be supporting!

    I bought a beautiful Donald Pliner that was 405 for 102.... great deals! Got shoes, socks, bras, all kinds of great deals to be had.. but there was such a mess I really had trouble focusing and getting shopping done. Oh and I got a beautiful jewelry box that was 248 for 62.

    I've also been lurking for a while and yesterday I found a great deal and decided to finally post.

    I found a Xbox 360 20gb Hard Drive for $24.98 it is originally $99.99 so I got it for 75% off!!! the dcpi(?) numbers are 207-00-0580

     

    Also the stores around me all have BTS at 75% off and Christmas Merchandise up! ( I Love Christmas!)
