Found some girls' bathing suits at 25% and 50% off. Great for so early in the season.

Had to mention, 'cause I haven't seen anyone post about it yet, that on Wednesday, my Target in Ithaca, NY, FINALLY marked down some of the boys clothes. They had tons of those wrinkle and stain-proof chinos at 50% off, jeans with adjustable waists at 50% off, Mossimo sweaters at $3.xx and Hanes sweats at 75% off. With the Hanes coupon Target sent me in my last coupon batch, I got sweatpants for $0.50! 50-75% off on underwear and socks. Also, I noticed the skipants were clearanced (did not check the amount, since I bought at regular price - couldn't stand to see how much they are marked down!). Happy hunting!

In reference to the prescription question above: this is where it pays to get to know your pharmacist. At my store, we filled a lot of prescriptions - at least 3 per month. I always try to see the same pharmasist (mostly because I like him and my kiddos like him) and he told me once, when no one else was about, that they will honor other coupons to keep you from transferring out if you are a regular user. Go when it's not busy and say honestly that you'd prefer to keep the prescription at Target and could they honor the coupon. Don't do it every month and always be nice!

In my Target today (Ithaca, NY), they had lots of great placemats and things 75% off. I spent quite a while there, matching napkins, napkin rings and placemats - and in the end, I couldn't justify it! But I knew someone here would appreciate the heads up! Also, got a youth soccer ball for $3.74, they had life jackets (SpongeBob and Disney Princess) for $6 something, and I scored a few exercise videos (pilates and yoga) for under $5. It looked like they had quite a lot of clearance tags in the exercise aisle.

Do not feel bad at all! Remember, you're helping Target make space for new items that other (silly) people will pay full price for! I honestly think Target has their inventory management perfectly tuned: they turn over items very quickly (buy it now or it might be gone), the regular prices on things are very appealing to many shoppers, and they keep enough amazing clearance deals to keep all of us shopping and chatting about it. You don't see a thread "Perimeter Perusing at WalMart" do you?
