We have fake trees. Much easier to deal with. I can put it up November 1st, and leave it up until January 6th, and not have to worry about needles falling off of it, or having to water it.

I love the "Santa Packs Are Coming" commercial. I sing it when I see the Santa packs in the stores. And the Hershey's commercial with the kisses as bells.

I opened my package tonight. WOW! Thank you so much to my Secret Santa! I opened my box to find some gummy bears, Twizzlers, a cute little bottle of Coke, Lindt Lindor assorted chocolates, a wrist pin cushion, Superman candy canes for my boys, and a cute snowflake bucket. When I took the bucket out of the box, I discover that there are items hiding inside it. There was a light up snowman, an owl ornament, marshmallows, packets of chocolate, and a snowman mug! Oh, my! I am in heaven! My secret Santa did an amazing job picking out everything. Thank you so much, Mary! I really appreciate it all!

Last year, I remember seeing a list of video games that would be on sale on Black Friday along with their prices and the stores they would be available at. Has anyone seen a list like that this year? Or is it still too early? I am seeing stuff go on sale at Amazon, and was just curious.

Well, like I said in my PM, I think the 3rd is an acceptable date. It gives possible elves time to shop for their SS if anyone flakes out. And I think you did a great job as well!

That is how it should be. I love shopping for stuff like this. It is so much fun. I try to pay special attention to what my DD likes and doesn't like. The first year I did this, I put all sorts of time, thought, and money into what I got my SS. Never got a thank you, or even an acknowledgement of them receiving their items. Then, to top it off, they never sent anything out to their SS. Makes me so mad. Why sign-up if you are going to flake out?

Some people just sign up to get "free stuff" and then never fulfill their obligations. Very sad.

I never got the coupon to work, so I just did an order anyway. $1.25 wasn't that big of a deal, but I did email their customer service about it just incase they can correct the order, lol.

I bought my hubby a UK sweatshirt, and and Auburn sweatshirt. Now, I just have to try to keep it a secret between now and Christmas, lol.
