  1. I'm a former military wife and kinda got used to cooking for an Air Force lol we always had the single guys that were pretty far from home with no family around over for all the holidays. I always made them stuff themselves then they always took enough for a couple days home with them. At first they always tried to bring something but they were eating at my house for a reason they couldn't cook much of anything so they just brought the beer and soda. Now that I'm remarried and my family is a little bigger we still have people over just now it's family and some close friends and they still take enough for a couple days. I'd just tell them "my family needs to eat too and after all this I don't want to cook for a couple days". Or just refuse to give leftovers at all. I'll never get why people are so greedy around the holidays
  2. I've had ATT since they were Cingular I started with them in 2002 as well I also used to work for them honestly your best bet is to first go to a store and b**** till they show you where the charges came from and how they can be removed and remember to hover over they're shoulder as they fix the problem after they remove whatever it is make them give you a confirmation print out then call and make them remove the charges and if they reappear you have proof of having something upgraded or removed if you tell me what the charges are from I can help you better to fix the problem also your job and or school may get you a discount pm me with some details and I'll help you out I don't want/need any personal info just a list of charges and what features you pay for ie text, internet P.S. they're good for the roadside for $2.99 if you don't need it make sure you have them remove it ASAP
  3. I might do the speed coaster but hoping for a better deal on the K'nex somewhere anywhere they're so expensive and the color wonder never gets better than BOGO and it's great if you have 2 kids to shop for because you only have to pay for one lol and it's freakin awesome (I play with them all the time)
  4. My biggest is line jumpers and whiners. I stood there all that time for a reason so should you and if you feel the need to whine stay the hell home and shop online. I love the people that get there 5 min till then are complaining about how long the line is as they walk past (and I'm in the middle) to get to the end. And this is NJ we all do know how cold it is no need to remind us the people around me and I usually laugh about how cold it is and remind each other how cold it was in 2004 etc then it don't seem that cold. The preggos and baby bringers don't bother me except when they feel they desrve special treatment or sympathy I always go preggo or not but I'm usually only about 20-25weeks so I'm not that big yet (preggo again this year 22wks TGday) but I know how to watch my belly and still push my way through and if your baby can't take the heat get them out of the kitchen WM, TRU, CC,and BB are dangerous put them in a cart instead of the stroller it's safer.
  5. It is a sick addiction and I'll be a proud member of BFSA but it's usually soooo worth it at least for me when it comes to toys I have 3 little ones but now they want quads this year and not the power wheels, real ones (@#^$) I always try to recruit a friend or two every year but the buddy system doesn't work too well for me they all slow me down leave the friends with kids at home or in the dust lol
  6. I'm actually spending a lot more this year kids are getting bigger and need/want bigger gifts plus I added another little one to the list as well as the whole family has gotten bigger and since I have the extra money this year I plan on getting started on birthdays to save a little from March to August (our birthdays are all in order and a new little one is coming in April) plus I have a baby shower to shop for last year I only spent about $400 this year I'm spending about $1300 the kids want quads and they're $400 each
  7. I plan on bringing:

    me in extra warm clothes

    a friend or two

    some snacks and drinks

    phone

    money/debit card of course

    and the ads a MUST

and a purse big enough to hold it all

I usually travel light I don't want anything holding me back of course I will have to end up finding a potty since I'll be 22 weeks prego or I just might wear some Depends lol and I might get some of those spiffy little hand warmer things

  8. I usually already have my game plan in play before the ads come out it's the same stores in the same order every year Walmart, TRU, Target, KMart, BRU, and then any others if I feel my mom does the mall for me since she's there anyway (she's head of security) so I don't have to do KBToys or BBW or any of those (thanks mom) so it just depends on what I want from the store as to what I get usually toys and clothes minor electronics
  9. If they're in the military they aren't picky anyway just pick a bird big enough for all and the sides you usually have for Turkey Day back home just relax breath and you'll be fine it's usually 3-4 hours for a nice 10-15lb turkey good luck
