  1. You can be buying him things all year at Target 75% off on clearance for his house and saving them and then just buy them each a gift or two and give them all of the stuff you've bought and it will look like you've spent way more $$ than you actually did (just remove those orange stickers). I've gotten my son a fan for his room and other stuff that way. When I find things really, really cheap on sale/clearance & with coupons I always pick up a couple extra. About once a month when my sons girlfriend visits (she goes to college about an hour away) I give her a big bag FULL of stuff (tampons, mouthwash, toothpaste, airfresheners, and groceries...) and I give it to her. I've only spent maybe $5 on the whole bag full each time.
  2. awesome brad!
  3. I agree. I wouldn't go overboard on the girlfriend, they are not married yet. But when you are that age wouldn't it feel nice to still get gifts? you are at the in-between adult/teenager age. Especially if you are buying the 18 year old a bunch of gifts. My 19 year old still lives at home, he doesn't get as many gifts as my 8 & (almost) 7 year olds but his gifts cost more than theirs.
  4. nothing wrong with allegiant air, we flew on them to las vegas a couple of months ago & are going to phoenix next year on allegiant again and hopefully to vegas again too!
  5. at the bottom of your post is "edit" next to "quote"... and when you click on that at the bottom of that is "save" "delete" "go advanced" or "cancel" it's next to "reason for editing"
  6. I was going to post the butterball # but oneredhonda beat me to it. Use one of those oven bags and they come out perfect every time!
  7. yes I did I ran in to CVS in the morning before I took my son to get his wisdom teeth pulled to check the halloween clearance and 4 of the coupons printed on my receipt. After he got his teeth pulled they offered to fill the 3 prescriptions there for $10 a piece and I told them that I would go & fill them myself. I dropped him off at home and went to CVS and the prescriptions cost $0 (because they were generic - free with our insurance) and was reading the coupons that said "limit 4" on them and asked if they would take 3 at a time & she said that she hadn't seen them and called someone else over that said that they say limit 4 so to take 3 of them since I was filing 3 prescriptions. And then they asked me if they could put the whole amount on one card! I came home and told my husband that I wouldn't have to spend any $$ at CVS for a looooooooooooong time!!!
  8. I'm not sure about the other coupons but 4 of them printed on at the bottom of my receipt last week and said limit 4. I had 3 prescriptions to fill so I got a $75 gift card:) :) :)
  9. there's a thread about it here http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=86972 closing this thread
  10. sometimes the ad says that it must be purchased in one transaction, it doesn't for the battery deal. see if it says anything by the batteries, but you should be able to buy 17.31 more and get another ecb, save your first receipt in case it doesn't print out. my ad says limit 2 per card, see what the signage at your store says, I'm not sure...

  14. The BF ad has Xbox pro with free wireless controller and 2 free games for $349. So do you get a controller with the unit and another one free? That is what it looks like from the picture. It looks like I can buy that Xbox with the 2 games on their site right now for $349, but it only says 1 controller and does not mention a free one. If it is the same deal either way then I would rather buy it now online instead of BF. But if the one on BF has an additional controller then that changes things...

  17. I don't know if they will do it on BF but they always sell them for $2.50 and then a week or 2 later for $2 each, that's when I stock up:)

  21. I agree, how does he know it was someone from ToysRUs? If an item was out the week before he should have been able to get more of them in time. And stores always hold back & stock up on things so that they have enough of something for a sale. They wouldn't have had more in a back room or something for a big sale like BF? It doesn't make any sense... And I know what's going to be on sale there at BF and he doesn't?
