  1. nail polish lasts a lot longer than a few months, I have had some bottles for years and they are still good
  2. 96 bars of soap would weigh a lot & if you really got 96 bars it still wouldn't be too bad, comes out to .18 cents per bar
  3. So what makes children's slippers worth $30?
  4. can I use all of the 20% off an item coupons that I have accumulated when they have it?

  8. thanks! we're going to a wedding in the spring and I just got my daughter a really pretty dress to wear, now I've just got to find my son something to wear...
  9. I don't think they have 34 of anything in my store even if they got the extra out of the back room it depends on your store, here you would have to spend $100 to use both of those, of course it also depends on the cashier, I've noticed that they've started to get pickier about coupons around here
  10. the mall is usually busier on saturday, so you could shop when the mall wasn't so busy and then just run in & pick up your stuff tomorrow
  11. yes, or just get one before you do your shopping there
  12. some stores may, here they will only take all 3 coupons if you spend $90 (I spent $30 the other day and they let me use 3 of the $2 off $10 coupons)
  13. the coupon says something about "commerical email" and "wholesale use only" and also that it "cannot be combined with any specials or discounts"...

  15. They always accept bed bath and beyond coupons even if they are expired and their own expired coupons too here.
  16. you tried doing it (you purchased it and nothing printed out) or you asked the manager if it would work and he/she said no? technically it isn't supposed to work and typically managers usually don't know how to get great deals in their own stores, but that doesn't mean that it won't work if you try it... I've bought things on clearance before and register rewards have printed out even though they weren't supposed to.
  17. Thank you :) here's link to page with other coupons and it will print off smaller and scanable from this page http://aarp.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.jsp?area=olshotbuys_gd
  18. They come up $9.99 for me too? The other Kohls post the sale items don't come up the right price for me either?
  19. It's not showing up for $4.80 for me? orig. $48.00 now $19.20
  20. Thanks, glad I never made it there tonight...
  21. I think that they have been doing this for a year now and not just electronics. It's really stupid because what parent has never gotten a duplicate gift for their child? And most people don't give gift receipts. I can see not giving cash back, but if they sell the item what does it hurt to give a store credit and let the child pick out a different gift? They don't even let you exchange something (a barbie for a different barbie). They're not out any money. And I understand only giving credit for the lowest sale price. If something doesn't work 60 days later (for example) you can go and buy a new one and return the old one with the new receipt.
  22. My children have taken the bus for 4 years now and I make it a point to talk to their bus drivers every year at school on the first day and at the bus stop before and after school and they have so far all been like nikkilugi and love their jobs and enjoy children and are just the nicest people! I live in a pretty middle class neighborhood and my children are always bussed with kids from lower-income families from the other side of town and I know that there are problems on the bus sometimes (more than I'd like), and I know that some busses have A LOT of problems on them (because I have been in the school more than when bus drivers have dropped off referrals) and they are still very pleasant and not bitter at all. In my middle class neighborhood I bet that every single person that has a job (over 200 homes) complains about low pay, high stress and bad hours; not just people that work in retail for minimum wage!! Very few people are happy with their pay and don't think that they deserve to make more for what they do and very few people have "perfect" hours and very few people don't ever feel stress at work.
  23. 90-95%? Very, very unbelievable. I worked in customer service for low pay for over 10 years for one company plus some others before that and nowhere near even 50% of the customers were rude or ill-informed. Good customer service people know how to diffuse the few that are rude. It's all about how you respond to them and make them feel! As I previously said, cussing by an employee in a toy store is completely unacceptable no matter what the person calling said on the phone!
