Menards always seems to be last, Think its usually on Tuesday as on way home from work Wednesday I scout out where the items are on my list.
They have a map qr code you can scan that will show you where everything is, and menards hands out maps before the doors open. The ad is color coded, and it corresponds to the map.

I still would prefer paper ads. Easier to lay them out and compare deals.
Last year there were no ads in our papers. I hope this year goes back to having the ads!

BBW BF sale is always the entire store Buy 3 items get 3 free. Plus they usually have a special gift box item for sale. I would wait until the $2.95 each soap sale in mid December.
I agree!

We are hoping to find a king mattress on black friday or over the holidays & I have never ordered a mattress online. I'd hate to order something online then totally hate the mattress a month later. You can find good and bad reviews for all mattresses. Also, please let me know if you see any deals on mattresses!
How is it to order a mattress online, how was your experience?
Do you have a brand you would reccomend or stay away from?
Did you check out mattresses locally beforehand or just order blind and hope for the best? I feel like we should go to a mattress store and sit on some mattresses, but I don't want to be pressured by salesmen.
Are they returnable if you order them online and don't like them?

Please share any gift card deals you find.
Costco has $75 Subway e-gift cards for $54.99 online only Thanksgiving day, and $100 Papa Johns e-gift cards for $74.99 also online only Thanksgiving day.
Sams Club has $200 Disney e-gift cards for $180 online only November 1-3, and $500 Southwest Airlines gift cards & e-gift cards for $429.99 October 30-December 1.
I usually stock up on gift cards Black Friday, especially to local restaurants, and use them throughout the year. Some places have 'buy a $100 gift card get $20 free' deals. Sometimes the free $20 gift cards have an expiration date in March, I just make sure to use all those up first. Panara always has gift card deals during the holidays, and Dollar General usually has a few on Black Friday to various restaurants. A couple years ago Dollar General had a deal on Starbucks gift cards.

I keep saying I will save all my Menards rebates to use on BF … but I never do
Same. Lol

Agree. Ads are coming out much later, prices aren't so great in the ads, things aren't on sale like they used to be...
Some examples the pet stores used to have almost all dog treats and toys on sale like half off, now just a few prestige brands are half off. Meijer always had cat liter half off, now it's buy one get one half off. JC Penney used to have tons of items free or cheap after rebates, and the free snowglobes.
I don't like the trends in black Friday shopping...

Got a TV yesterday, they didn't even have them on the floor, you had to ask an employee for one.

Doing a happy dance, got my batteries yesterday and my rewards, and already have the paper towels in my cart...

I'll be doing an order pickup for some $3 paper towels. Hoping this Sunday they have batteries free after rewards and I'll use the rewards to pay for the paper towels and tp.

Another disappointing ad, this will be the first year I'm not going to Michaels.

Used to love shopping at Kohls in the middle of the night on black Friday when they'd stay open all night. I'd get my black Friday shopping done everywhere else, then go to kohl's in the middle of the night after the long lines were done and still take advantage of the sales without the crowds. Sometimes I'd go to kohl's for doorbusters then come back later at 2 or 3 am and shop the rest of the sale and not have to wait in long lines to pay. And finish in time to get in line at the stores that didn't open until 6am.

Hoping to get a much early shopping as done as possible and to only have to hit a couple stores in black Friday.

Waiting for the ads to come out!

Black Friday is a week away and there's still ads not available. Hoping to get my game plan together this weekend.
Gift card deals - share any that you find!
