really not impressed with any of the laptop deals this thanksgiving so far. I bought a sony vaio a month ago for $450 and faster than what BestBuy is offering.

all these laptop deals really pale in comparison to the 16 hour sale one back in january. If you can last a year it might be worth waiting at this point. The L25-S119 was all the same specs as listed above (-100MHz), and $400. If you can't wait, go for it. oh, also be aware they don't want to let you return the 'in-store upgraded ram' computers. they claim BS that you had the computer modified already and they can't accept it back, I had this happen and had to chew out the main store manager before they did a return.

any other cheap laptops? anything like the $400 one 2 weeks ago?

compusa is already denying my online rebate submission ($300). I bought the L25-S119 laptop and the epson cx4200 printer and it shows I only purchased the printer, refuses to say I purchased the laptop. I've called and been run in circles and emailed them and have no response. Sounds like they're back to their old schemes. I may end up returning everything if they don't fix this rebate thing soon.
