  1. Well, that just seems great to me. I think I finally convinced my husband to give it a try so we may head over there tomorrow. We may have to do the projector thing since the temptation of not returning the TV may be too great! =)

I'll let you know how it works. The whole thing does make me nervous though, I hope I'm not trying to rip them off here. But, I figure if they allow it then it must be ok.

Surely I'd have it paid off before the 3 year period is up but at least I know I have 3 years! Thank you so much for your help!!

You can buy both a laptop AND a tv on the same receipt and you will get everything under the 3-years no-interest promotion. Don't open the tv and just return it a day or two later. :)

For the sake of disclosure, I gotta say that i DO have a best buy credit card and it is what I use for those kinds of purchases.... although I am not sure whether it is necessary to use one for this kind of deal.

I also would like to point out that in order to qualify for the promotion, the tv needs to cost at least a $1000. Keep this in mind to make sure you have enough credit line.

Instead of a tv, I would also suggest asking whether they have a qualified projector. As long as the projector cost at least $1000, it should qualify for the promo as well. A projector box is significantly easier to carry out of the store than a tv box.

In this way, you get 3 years no interest on your shiny new laptop... and all you have to do is carry out and then return a measly tv/projector. :)

As an aside, I'd like to point out that BBuy will have this promtion every year in the 3 weekends prior to the Super Bowl.

Last year, they also did this kind of promotion in the 2 weeks surrounding Memorial Day.... although this was the first one i've seen them do around this time so i'm not sure if it's an every year thing.

Are you serious?? First, will they really refund a $1000 item?? So basically I'm buying like $1800 worth of stuff but returning $1000 of it and still getting the 3 years no interest?? WOW. That is a good deal. Are you sure this works, that's quite a gamble! :eyepoppin

  3. Newegg occasionally offers 12-months-same-as-cash through Bill Me Later (currently, the deal is only for 3 months)

Here are a few places that are offering 6-months-same-as-cash through Bill Me Later:

    http://shopping.billmelater.com/offers/6months.html

Fujitsu makes nice laptops, best known for the 14.1" size and SMALLER. CyberPower offers plenty of "cutting edge" laptops. JR Music & Computer World and PC Universe have laptops...

I bought my HP laptop directly from HP.com with 6-months-same-as-cash. I've been sending them payments anyway, I owe them $160.00 before March. They still have this offer going too.

Thanks, I'll check out those places. I've built a few on hp.com too....I think I just need to do it and get it over with! :yup:

  4. In Sundays paper there was a coupon for $2.25 off Electrasol dishwasher tabs. They are on sale this week at Target for $2.66 for a 26 tablet box and walmart has the electrasol powerball tabs(20 count) for $2.88. Some of the boxes at WalMart had 25% more free(25 for the price of 20!). I got 16 boxes of tabs today.

WHOA! 16 boxes! That's a lot of dishwashin'! :) What a steal though!
