I'm actually teaching one also. One of the things I do in my workshops is project gottadeal.com on the big screen. I literally walk people through the site.
That's on top of all the newbie tips, price drop info, etc. Walking people through the process of finding these deals is a big one. It surprises me to find out how many people aren't forum savvy and don't know how to navigate the 'deal hunting' experience. I try to explain all of that and make it fun too.
If you have access to a projector I would highly recommend that. Otherwise, you'll end up with tons of e-mails with questions about it. :)

I called our Kmart about the price adjustment on BF for layaway items and they said yes they will do it. She said just put all your stuff in layaway ahead of time then on BF, pull it out and get a price adjustment. She said that the line maybe long but it's probably worth it. WOOHOO!

Is there a good place to find out the store policies or do I have to call each one? I'd like to know which stores are best to buy online, which ones can I get price adjustments for and so on? Is there somewhere I need to be looking?

Jenni... I have a 2 month old and prefer Swaddlers when they are young, too. Target carries the same boxes Walmart does. This week the $19.99 boxes are buy 2 and get a $5 gift card.
They also are carrying bonus boxes right now. Last week you bought 2 of those Jumbo boxes (jumbo boxes of Swaddlers size 2 diapers have 132 diapers in them, I THINK size 1 is actually the same count) and got a $10 gift card.
so watch Target for the diaper deals, too. If you get the Sunday paper Proctor & Gamble put coupons in the paper every month. In June they put out coupons for Pampers, I THINK they won't put them out again until Aug but I could be very very wrong on this!
You can use a manufacturer coupon AND a Target coupon at the same time. There is usually a Target coupon that you can print from the Internet (PM me if need more info on that) to combine with the Man. coupon.
Target will clearance out those bonus boxes in a few weeks. I am anticipating they will clearance out in August, I could be wrong.
I agree! Target is the best place for diapers around here since we have no CVS. Combining coupons can get you a steal sometimes!

No, they had one that ran through Mother's day but it expired and the dang thing was for 50% off!! I didn't come across it till about 5 hours after it expired.
I want the peanut shell pink couture nursing cover. I think I am going to just opt to get it through Target.com. I have some gift cards that I got through mypoints.
I can't believe that thing was 50% off and I missed it!! Was that not posted here or something!
That's funny you mentioned mypoints, I just got a $25 Target card from them too! :)

Ok, I've been looking for codes for any baby store at all to get one of these things. They run between $40-$60 and I'd like to get one ASAP. Does anyone know of any deals out there??

I just went to Wal-mart and in their baby section, they had a whole bunch of newborn toys on clearance as well as diapers and formula. I know this kinda stuff varies by store, but I've been finding that kinda thing a lot around here so you may find something. It's usually hidden at the end of an isle or at the back of the shelf kinda thing.

FYI I hit the one in Branson over the weekend, everything was $2.99 but it was really picked over. I also went into Carter's (they bought out Oshkosh) and they are going to have a warehouse sale in April. I can't remember the date. But, I know at least in Branson, they are going to have a warehouse sale in the same place that Oshkosh did. I think was around April 17th or something but if you have one close to you it may be worth calling to find out the exact date. I love carter's!

I went ahead and signed up for the BE "Club"... figured I'd use it anyway so may as well have it shipped automatically to me. BTW, the website says it is shipped every 30 or 60 days but I changed my delivery to every 5 months to see just how long it will take me to use what they've sent. Plus, I've heard that occasionally you get "gifts" from Leslie..
