I ordered this two days ago for $19.99. Does anyone know how you go about getting refunded money...I know a lot of people who ordered the Christmas trees did this when the price went down. Do I just go through their general email? Thanks!

I feel really OLD! I was going to sign up for the $100 gift card drawing on the Pacsun website until I saw the checkbox stating that you had to be between the age 13 and 35! Granted, I am on the site looking for stuff for my daughters (my oldest is 12 1/2, therefore can't enter the contest). But what about the young at heart??!! There may be people over 40 that wear surfer gear!

Thanks for the great info. A word of warning about ordering magazines through buy.com (one of my favorite deal sites!) I recently orders "Girl's Life" through buy.com. The description said get 6 month risk free, then publisher will charge $15. I signed up and checked my account a few days later, and the publisher had already charged me. It really wasn't buy.com's fault. They provided me with the publisher's phone #, it was easy enough to cancel, but it was just irritating to me. Now I am going to order it through magazinepricesearch.com.

I would say definitely try out scrapbooking (especially for this price!) I used to be a Creative Memories consultant, and when I did classes, newcomers would say that they weren't creative enough, and by the time they left they were so proud of the pages they made. My family loves to show off the scrapbooks I made for them, and my daughters now love to scrap themselves!

Did anyone have any problems with their controllers? I ordered two. One doesn't work at all and the other one makes the game go crazy (like when you are selecting letters for your name, it scrolls through all the letters reallly fast on its own and it won't stop). I'm really bummed, Circuit City isn't very close to me, but I figure it will be easier to return to store rather than mailing. Does anyone know how they are about returning defective items?

If you use Order by Item Number, it will come up as .99. If you try to do a general search on the item number, it comes up as $3.98. Strange!!

I held off ordering this tree when it was $49.99 because of the few bad reviews. Since they dropped it another 10 bucks, I figured how could I possibly lose? I paid $23 for our real tree this year, so this tree will pay for itself in two years! We are hoping to add a family room onto our house next year, so we can put the artificial tree up in the family room with a train (my husband says trains and real trees don't mix well) and a real tree in our living room (I might actually be able to use some of my own ornaments for a change, since our current tree has all of my kids' ornaments and no room for mine!) So many people have posted great reviews on Amazon's site, plus everyone who posts here, so I feel confident I will be pleased with the tree.

I love my Classic KitchenAid mixer! My husband bought me one for Christmas several years ago. One time a hunting buddy of his was sitting in my kitchen, and I showed off my new mixer. He said, "Is that an antique?" I laughed so hard!
I guess the "bullet" look sort of does look like it's from the forties or fifties. It's a tank, though, and I use it constantly! You can't go wrong with a KitchenAid.

I never returned anything to Dell, but I have to tell you about this! Last year, I bought a camera from them for my daughter. Only when I received the order confirmation did I see that it might not ship until very close to Christmas. I sent them an email (not a complaining type) asking if they could guarantee I would receive the camera before Christmas, and if not, would I be able to cancel the order. They sent me a very nice email and a code for $100 off a $100 order! I couldn't believe it. I bought an MP3 that was on sale for $225, got it for $130-something after shipping. Then it turned out my husband had bought me an MP3 for Christmas, so he tricked me into not opening the one from Dell. I didn't want to return it to Dell because I didn't want to lose the $100 deal, so I sold it on eBay for $275! And guess what - the camera came well before Christmas! So I agree with mrn8: complain. Who knows what they will do for you!

I don't know how widespread Bon Tons are, but I live in Western Pennsylvania and shopped there this morning and got some great deals. They are having "Friends and Family" sales (started Dec. 9) where you get an extra 25% off everything except electronics (10%) and a few other exclusions. I don't usually sign up for credit cards, but I got an extra 10% all day since I did (I was going to charge the stuff anyhow, so I figured what the heck!) The remainder of the sale is tomorrow from 8 am to 10 pm and Monday from 9 am to 11 pm. They had some great sales this morning, I don't know if they were just for today or what, and then getting the extra 25%, the 10% more off was wonderful!

They'll send them separately in the mail. Watch the date on them, a lot of times you have to use them pretty quickly!

Does anyone know the brand of the portable dvd player that Kohl's have been advertising on TV for their two day sale? It flashes so quickly, I can't tell. It's $129 after rebate, but I think it's 8 1/2" screen, so that's a great price! Plus I have a 15% off coupon, and they're doing their $10 reward for every $50 spent. The only problem is that Kohl's is not close to me, so I'd like to research the player before I make the trip to get it. Also, does anyone know if it's for the sale tonight (Friday) or tomorrow morning? Thanks so much!
