The "People" subscription is for "People Style Watch", not the regular mag. I would have definitely jumped on it - I pay through the nose for "People"! Today is the last day for the deal.

I am so glad I ordered stuff for my DD this weekend after hearing what you all went through. Nothing I ordered was on sale today except for one thing ($5 difference), and I saw that this morning the dress she really wanted for her doll was listed as being backordered until Jan. 8! Even though it burns my butt to pay American Girl full price, I am so happy I will not have a dissapointed girl this Christmas!

Only one thing I ordered previously is on sale, so I lost about $7. Now I don't feel as bad!

I did some looking around on their website and I noticed on a sweater they had on sale had a note that said no price adjustments on previous purchases. Returning the stuff would probably not be an option because of the shipping I paid originally plus the cost to send it back would probably equal the savings I would get during the sale! The only reason I ordered from them was because my daughter didn't ask for anything big this year, but she really wanted a certain outfit that cost $30 (ridiculous!) It really aggravates me how they so rarely offer any savings, other than free shipping on certain dolls occasionally.

I just ordered some clothes and the dog Sugar for my daughter because they never seem to have great sales...figures! I wonder if they do price adjustments or what their return policy is. I should have waited!

My brother-in-law is the IT person for a school district and very technically-savvy. He buys a variety of computers and Acer is one of them. His wife has an Acer netbook and loves it. I ordered an Acer netbook for my teenage daughter from Amazon and he thought I got a good deal, so I'm crossing my fingers he's right.

Yay, they sent me an email and gave the $30 card! Happy, happy!

Looking for advice: I ordered one earlier today because I went to MIL's house who doesn't have internet and I was afraid it would go up in price (they weren't offering the gift card then). I just got home and saw the new deal. I sent them an email asking what I should do because I couldn't cancel the original order because they are preparing it for shipment. Do you think they would add the card on, or do you think I should order another and then send the first one back? I know they won't do price adjustments anymore, but since it hasn't even shipped yet, I'm hoping they will make it a little easy on me.

I've been looking to see if anyone is talking about it, and I did see something that it was a fake ad! Don't know if that's true or not.

Hmmmm....wonder if they changed the ad, because when I did a search on the Acer Aspire yesterday on the BF page here, it showed up, and now it doesn't. Now I'm not feeling as bad about ordering the one from Amazon.

I just found on here that OfficeMax will have an Acer Aspire 10.1 for $150 on BF. I know nothing about what OMax is like on BF (the one closest to me is not in the area where I normally shop). It would be nice to save the money - I could always send the Amazon one back - but if it's going to require me being in line at midnight, I don't know if I want to bother. The way that I look at it right now, I got the netbook at a decent price, maybe not a doorbuster price, but now I can go out on BF and actually enjoy myself shopping instead of fretting about whether I'm even going to get the item. I will probably make up the savings with the other things I'll buy.

Unfortunately, the Sponge Bob Truth or Squared game is out of stock...that was the one my dd really wanted.

That's my exact situation, except I have 14 year old girl. I figure I'll get her a decked-out laptop when she starts college.

I cancelled my order because of Target's ad, but now I'm wondering whether I should have...the sleeve doesn't matter to me, I will end up paying $12 in tax at Target, and there is no guarantee they will have them, and will they have the cool colors?, plus I will have to drive there...I think I will reorder from Amazon.

Thanks! I had this ordered with Circuit City, but by the time I was going to check out, they had run out online, and I don't live close to a store. GameStop has them tomorrow morning, but now that is one stop I won't have to make!

I hope this really happens, because I have been driving myself nuts looking for the best deal on a PSP. If they would give me $20 off the Ratchet and Clank bundle, it would take care of my problem!

There are a few retailers that have them...when I was looking for a wii I would check www.zoolert.com and another site that I can't get the link to show up on here for some reason. I have been going nuts lately trying to get a wii fit! Every once in a while a bundle is available, but the shipping on them are ridiculous. Plus, add in my horrible dial-up (because I can't get cable or dsl where I live) and the frustration doubles!

Thanks! I'm sure my family will love this game, and since it's so inexpensive, I don't feel bad buying it. We just got a WII in the spring and we haven't played the PS2 since then, so maybe this will get the kids interested in it again. I have one question: I pre-ordered a book for my daughter along with the game so that I could get the free shipping. The whole order won't ship until September, which doesn't bother me since I was going to save it for Christmas anyhow. Will Amazon still honor the sale price of the game even if it would happen to go up when it ships? I've never been in this situation before, so I wasn't sure.

I found out that it's better to order the smaller size. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and when I ordered my first pair of Crocs, I tried the 8 and they were way too big (luckily it was through shoebuy and they had free return shipping). The 6/7 fits perfectly.

Boscov's has both the swing ride and ferris wheel for $19.99. They have free shipping on orders over $50. I was in Boscov's yesterday and considered buying one.
