I can't wait to see what is next week weeks ads
I went to my local BB looking for this laptop (they were out @ $449) and the sales guy told me they should have something similar next week. Anyone seen the BB ad for next week yet?

I think they use those l-o-o-o-o-n-g shipping estimates for the free shipping to try to sell you the more expensive, faster shipping options. I've never had a problem getting stuff fairly quickly using the free shipping option.

Seems to work for me. It could be a zip code thing and if your closest store doesn't have them anymore, they may count them as discontinued. When you add code 70028389 to your cart, hit the more information link and see what comes up. For me, the 4-piece luggage set shows discontinued, but the 5-piece is still available.
Both the 4-piece and 5-piece show "low availability" under the more information link, but both show discontinued when I select them. The only freebie offered is a $59.99 small B/W TV with AM/FM radio. But thanks for the information.

Did you charge it to a credit card? Some companies offer accidental damage protection for the first 90 days or so. It's worth checking with the card company. Good luck!

Mine has not been cancelled, at this point.
I just checked the web site and it still says that my order is "processing." The e-mail says the order is cancelled. The web site probably has not caught up with the cancellations yet.
I would be interested in knowing if anyone actually receives the items at the original low price. Then I probably would complain and see if they send a coupon or something.

Sears just CANCELLED my order, claiming an error on the site! I just got the following e-mail:
