I went to my local BB looking for this laptop (they were out @ $449) and the sales guy told me they should have something similar next week. Anyone seen the BB ad for next week yet?

I think they use those l-o-o-o-o-n-g shipping estimates for the free shipping to try to sell you the more expensive, faster shipping options. I've never had a problem getting stuff fairly quickly using the free shipping option.

Both the 4-piece and 5-piece show "low availability" under the more information link, but both show discontinued when I select them. The only freebie offered is a $59.99 small B/W TV with AM/FM radio. But thanks for the information.

Did you charge it to a credit card? Some companies offer accidental damage protection for the first 90 days or so. It's worth checking with the card company. Good luck!

I just checked the web site and it still says that my order is "processing." The e-mail says the order is cancelled. The web site probably has not caught up with the cancellations yet. I would be interested in knowing if anyone actually receives the items at the original low price. Then I probably would complain and see if they send a coupon or something.

Sears just CANCELLED my order, claiming an error on the site! I just got the following e-mail: Dear Customer, Thank you for your order with sears.com. The restrictions state: Each promotional claim code offer ("offer") can be used only once. Limit one offer per household. I don't think it'll hold up.
