Just stopped by my local Fred Meyer to check on things. The guy there told me he sold his last one from today's shipment about 30 minutes ago. He said the earliest he would have any more is Thursday, but he doesn't know if any will be in that shipment. David

Was it one of those corrugated envelopes that is glued around the perimeter? I get my books in those envelopes when I order them from buy.com. Your description gives me the mental image that it came in a paper envelope. I sort of don't think that's the case, but maybe I'm wrong. David

Wow, the Ebay prices have really dropped on the Wii since yesterday. I guess everyone is figuring there will be more available at retail before Christmas, so the hysteria seems to have died way down. David

Well, no joy here. BB ran out, CC ran out, Kmart ran out, Sears ran out. Costco didn't have any at all. Neither did Radio Shack. Not sure where else to try, I guess I will keep trying online every once in a while to see if any come back available to order that way. David

Target I sent to had 24, but all of them already spoken for from the line last night. They gave out tickets. Same with Kmart. I guess my next try is BB or CC, how about Costco? They will all be opening in the next 2 hours. David

I thought I'd drive by Fred Meyer here just after midnight. Talked to the security guy at the door. He told me they were officially closed but only let in the first 48 people who had been waiting in line. Apparently they had 48 Wii's tonight that were sold out. Not sure when the next batch will arrive. David

Fred Meyer is opening for an hour, at least the one near my house. They will sell them from 12 am - 1 am. David

I just drove by my local Fred Meyer in Spokane, WA. They told me a couple of days ago they were expecting 50 units to sell tonight. There is a line there with close to 50 people in it now waiting out in the cold. David
