Did a little recon today. Store only has 8 notebooks but plenty, I mean plenty of everything else. The store will give out tickets. How early to get the notebook? Is 3 AM to late?

OK. If Staples is your first stop, what time to get in line this year? Do they hand out tickets? I have been going to BB first every year for years and I'm not going this year. So I was thinking of going to Staples first.

Got to BB 4:30PM. Got a Sony Viao. I also wanted a Toshiba. I got a Toshiba with Geek Squad AVS package. Total was $369.99. I tried to go back later and return the Geek Squad upgrade and CSR said NO! I would have to return the laptop completely. I told him that if I could not get money back for GS, I would wait until 1/31/2008 to return the unit for a full refund. I even told him that I would store the unit unopened in my hot and humid garage for two months! He said that BB will return the item to Manufactuer and BB would get a full credit! How do I get around this?

I think the Toshiba Laptop has 512MB Ram. It has to be for Vista. I have not openned my laptops yet.

I went to CC in Miami, FL around 6:30 AM after being at BB all day and night. They only let a few people in the store at once. So I did not get inton the store until 8:15 AM. But the wait was worth it. I managed to get every FAR item in the ad . Plus I got a few SD cards and one 1 GB cruizer. However, I did not get the free polariod camera with $249 purchase. I ended up getting the MIO C10X GPS on Saturday morning. I was so amazed that at 8:30 AM on BF in CC, I was able to get my hands on the free after rebate items! Anybody else get all or most of the FAR's items? Thanks CC!

Hello. I just wanted to know, when you got your ticket for computers, did they try to sell you recovery CD's for each machine? I thought that the manufacturer provided all the necessary CD's in the box. I bought both notebooks and emachines and the sales guy was mad that I did not purchase any recovery CD's. He stated that all computers in retail are sold without disks and that they will charge consumers for them. Anybody fall for this?

I had a great experience in Culter Bay, Miami FL. I got there at 3:30 PM. Got both laptops, emachines, and both cameras and camcorders. Was able to leave the store at 5:20 AM with everything and headed to Staples. But that's another story.

You should stay put. At my store, vouchers were only good till 9:00 AM. Plus, you will not find parking. The bad thing about BF is that you can only go to one store for the early openning.

Could we buy both laptops? I am going alone, but I want both HP and Toshiba.

CC's web id's are in most of their sales flyers. You type in the web id in the search box @ CC's website. It's usually the model # of the product.

Yes. The camera will be ticketed. I got one last for the kodak. Usually all the front cover items are ticketed. And this year's ad specifically states it. Previous years, they will hand out tickets for as much inventory as they have. Just because the flyer says minimum 10 per store, they will give tickets out until they run out.

In the new colored BB ad, their PM is not in effect for the two day sale. Says in fine print on the bottom of the front page flyer.

Game looked excellent on my Samsung DLP. Especially when the score was 31 to 13 Miami.

Best Buy's hours are 5:00 AM till 11:00 PM on BF. This is confirmed in Miami, FL. Circuit City's hours are from 5:00 AM till 10:00 PM on BF.

This is in the S. Florida area. I went to my favorite CC today and on the door was the calendar of Holiday hours. Nov. 24 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

With the true calm before the storm, now is a good time to make sure you have all the credit card accounts you need for the holidays. Most department stores love to push new accounts on BF (BB, CC, Target etc.) However, this creates chaos at the check out lines. Most large electronic stores offer great financing plans, but you must use their department store card for that. So as we get closer to the upcoming holiday rush, I recommend that you look through your purse and wallets to make sure you have those shinny plastic cards for all your BF purchases.

I believe they call these trucks "Roach Coach".

My local BJ's wholesale club was sold out of the NFL chair I wanted. So I decided to go to Walmart. They had the exact same chair for about $4.00 more then BJ's. Both stores are near by each other. WM is a big rip off. I hate shopping there. Looking at my cool new avatar, can you guess which NFL team?
