Kohl's Grand Opening Sale 30% code
codeblue replied to Lindaz's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
yes. you do need to use your kohl's charge to receive the discount -
Usually send them the day before Thanksgiving.
-
Probably walmart to price match, kohls, target, kmart and then the mall.
-
I know mine here in southeast MI do. As a matter of fact the sales flyer today said it would be the last week for $5 layaway. I guess after it will be a certain % of the total.
-
Immediate family everyone gets gifts and we draw names for the extended family.
-
I send out about 70, I usually get photo cards printed at Costco.
-
Whatever was bought on clearance after Christmas last year. I do however wrap Santa gifts in Santa paper.
-
Hallmark does have some cute Disney ornaments. I know in the past Kohl's has had Hallmark ornaments at 50% on BF.
-
Just curious how many can make the BF rounds without having to drop stuff back at home and go back out. I go out every year with my friend and we always have to go back and unload her SUV after we have hit the door buster sales before going back out for general sales. Its a good thing we are less than 10 minutes from the stores.
-
Maybe try Michaels they may have them on a good sale for BF.
-
You could always order online and get the same deals.
-
It is a fun place. I live in southeast Michigan so it isn't to far from me. Usually around October we get coupons in the local Sunday papers for Bronners and sometimes for Zehnder's. If I get them I would be happy to send to them you if you are interested.

Organization? (Do you carry ads with you? What about cash and wallets???)
codeblue replied to momof2many's topic in 2006
Two copies of the ads put in order of stops to be made. Items circled from other stores that will be price matched at walmart. I also make lists for each store. -
Depends on what time stores open and what is on sale. We price match what we can at walmart then usually hit kohl's target then kmart and wing the rest.
-
Usually until around noon. We leave around 4:30 hit all the stores for doorbusters. Then track back for general shopping. All stores are within a 5 mile radius so it isn't difficult to do this.
-
Hide the gifts so kids can't find them then take a nap.

I love Kohl's on Black Friday they usually have some good sales especially Fisher Price and Little Tyke toys(usually 50%) for the little ones. I also save my MVC extra 15% coupon to use that day which makes the already good buys even better. I can remember for my DD first christmas(2001) a stock boy came out with an empty stock basket so I could put everything in it. Since we still have little ones in the family I look forward to the toy sale.

Okay I just went again tonight to check out toys to see if any were left or maybe returned. I was able to pick up a leapster game I think its called word chaser for 4.72 grade 1-4(already put away in the christmas goody box). Also, able to pick up for the pc, Elementary School success 2006 grades 1-6 and phonics success 2006 grades k-4 each is a cd rom set with 6 cds and only 4.98 each. -
The tree is mostly hallmark keepsake ornaments and everything else is snowmen.

codeblue replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Went to my target today and did some christmas shopping got all for 75% off Take along Bob The Builder 2-n-1 toys $3.74 got three different ones Large plastic Tonka truck $4.98 Ballerina Leap pad book K-1st grade $3.74 Princess makeup $1.98 Barbie fashion plate $1.48 Large Bratz Doll that blows bubbles $7.48 ( don't really care for them but daughter really wants one and how can santa say no) Barbie playset with phone, purse, glasses and plastic lipstick $5.24 Mermadia Barbie $2.98 Probably could have gotten more but I had the kids with me so it was hard to hide everything. Its a good thing some of it was for nieces an nephews. I think I might have to go back later without the kids. Most of these toys were in the regular aisles with clearance tags and not in one spot so look down all aisles. -
?? Best way to get rid of baby clothes?
codeblue replied to acis516's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I get rid of my stuff at Mom to Mom sales which are usually in the spring and fall at local churches and schools. I pay $ 20 for a table and have made anywhere from $300 - $500. The best thing about this type of sale is that everyone coming there is looking specifically for those items and they are advertised well.
