  1. i just sometimes leave him some cookies, I made in a ziplock baggie. He liked them, said they were good!
  2. Candies, sm pkgs of nuts, corn nuts, golf balls ot tees, pens, post its, memo tablets, music cds, colognes, lip balm, toys, guitar strings, picks, etc. Especially items related to their hobby! They really like that! My hubby plays golf and guitar so I get things for him related to those!
  3. We alos have store bought canned cinnamon rolls and bacon every year for Christmas morning breakfast!!!!!!
  4. That is my VERY favorite christmas music!!!! I have an old copy on casstte~ bought the cd but it didnt have all the same songs on it! Still use my old cassette tape some! But yes it is the best!
  5. I always had a stocking when I was a kid, mom put apple orange nuts, candy canes in and a few small gifts like perfume earrings, etc. Not a lot really. When hubby and I had our first Christmas I gave him a small stocking and he said it was the first time hed ever had one and he didnt have one for me cause he didnt know I was doing it. From then on we had big ones stuffed full and Ive done it for all 4 kids. The oldest ones are away from home and still get one and I will be doing one for the future SIL this year, too! This year they said they want LOTS of candy and some kiddie toys like play dough and silly putty!!!!! Not so much other little stuff. They open them first. But nobody goes into the living room until they come to our room for the Bible reading of the Christmas story and a prayer first!
  6. I loved layaway when my kids were younger and I didnt have much money! It was a lifesaver to me, I could find the perfect toy get it while they still had it and put it in layaway before they were all gone! Kids thought it was ok cause I gave it to the layaway lady to show to Santa what they wanted! Tricked em that way! I can understand the expenses of a layaway and the need for employees and they were always overworked and stressed out! And it did take a lot of storage room and PODs for storage for them. And took forever for them to sometimes find your Layaway when you were ready to get them out! Im sure it would help out in this years economy for some families this year tho!
  7. The Doodle Bears are cute! My girls now 20,18, & 15 had them when they were younger! They loved them! Linda W
