  1. After my game was canceled, I sent an e-mail to cancel my remotes on Sunday and spoke with a customer service rep on Monday to cancel my order. I get an email today (Thursday) that my remotes have shipped! That is ridiculous. I will never step foot in another Walmart again!
  2. When I talked with customer service, Paul said I could either return the remotes to the store or refuse them when they are delivered. I told him I did not want to be charged shipping for a package deal for something they cancelled half of and he said I shouldn't have to pay shipping charges on the wiimotes to return them.
  3. Columbia, SC finally went 75% today. I got 2 trees. I had checked availability on line and the store that is about 30 minutes away had both of the trees I wanted so I took a chance they would be at 75%. They had a ton of stuff left, including stuff I had never seen at my store. Spent $165 for $460 worth of stuff.
  4. I just got my order to go thru! I was getting frustrated and came here and saw the Turkey15 code so I saved another $70! That was worth the 20 minutes of frustrations!
  5. I have four sisters. The Sunday before Christmas, we have a progressive dinner. Sometimes we get so busy in December that we don't get to each others houses and this way we all get to admire how everyone decorates their house. We switch every year as to who has appetizers, main course, desserts etc... We will open the gifts from the sister's house we are at during the course of the meal. We always go to our parents house Christmas Day and it was soooo many presents for 5 sisters, 5 husbands, 8 kids, two parents and any other aunts, uncles, cousins or whoever else shows up. My mom always buys a ton so it is an event to open the gifts from her. Christmas eve we will go to the Candlelight service at church. The 3 kids always sleep in our room Christmas eve. DS10 has sleep issues and I always worry that he is going to walk in on Santa! One year the child took his sleeping meds and was still awake at 2am. I finally gave him a second dose. I kept having to reset the alarm to make sure I would wake up! He had been laying down quietly but was so excited he couldn't fall asleep! I think he finally went to sleep around 3:30 or 4. I was quite sleepy that Christmas day.
  6. You know what might be a neat idea for a 4 year old. Get her one of the Dept 56 North Pole series houses from Santa. She could get a new house every year and then have a village when she is grown. The North Pole would be fun for her age as it is Santa's home! My best friend has that one and it really has some cute things in it.
