I got this feather bed two days ago and it is made way better than the one I bought about 5 years ago for $49.99 (on sale marked down from $89.99). The baffel boxes are sewn together in all the corners so the feathers won't shift as much. For some reason on my old one they did not sew the boxes into complete seperate boxes and the feathers would move towards the outer edges leaving the inside boxes empty, it was so hard to fluff! I would have to push the feathers back into the center and it was not easy. With any feather bed you have to fluff it up at least once a week maybe more if you are above average weight or are a restless sleeper. The feathers will get compacted quicker and when they get compacted they will start to poke through. The only way to prevent that is to keep it fluffed. It is WAY more comfortable fluffed up any way. It is just part of my routine to change the sheets and fluff the bed about once a week or every 4 to 5 days depending on how busy I am. This bed is going to be so much easier to fluff than the other one. A few hard shakes and flip it over. No more struggling to push the feathers from the outer boxes back into the center ones from the outside. As far as the smell, I haven't noticed anything unusual or strong. It does smell mildly of feathers, my grandparents have had feather pillows for years (for guests)and it smells like that. I don't see how anyone could smell a strong order, if you stick your nose into it and sniff really hard it does smell like feathers but it does not smell strong to me. I do have seasonal outdoor allergies and feather beds have never bothered me.

I am not a returning customer but I did call and place my order this morning and the code worked just fine. I do not know why it would not work for me online but if you have trouble getting the code to work online just call them. Clearing my cookies did not work. I have never ordered from them before so maybe the coupon is for returning customers only.

It seemed to accept it and showed shipping at $0.00. Then I realized I forgot to select USA and my state. After that it would not work again. I have to leave right now and don't have time to check, but I think if I clear my cookies and start over it should work then. Thanks for checking and making sure it does, work it's just me! I will try it as soon as I get back.

I think the $10 off are only supposed to be used once a month at most. I don't know why some people get away with it and some don't. I think it depends on who processes your order. Some CSR's will flag your account for coupon missuse and then every order from then on out is flagged and they check every order to make sure the coupons are used correctly. I think if you wait long enough for an order to ship before you use the coupon again you should be okay. That is what I do just to be sure and have not had a problem. If you have two orders in the system they can see both and will know that you are using to many coupons. One reason a VS CSR gave someone else was that the $10.00 off are birthday coupons and should only be used once a year. They don't notice someone abusing the coupon until they have multiple orders in the system at once. IMHO I would only use the coupons on one order and wait to make sure it was shipped and delevered before I would try again but that is just me. I don't want to get flagged and have them checking every order. I can only afford a purchase once every 3 or 4 months anyway (2 sometimes! ) Once you are flagged that is the end. I don't think you can ever get it off. You would have to have a new CC, address, & name.

I had the same experience. I did not specify what you can use the coupons on because some posters claim it works on clearance. I put both clearance and regular priced items, it did work on regular items. It did not work on clearance or the $9.99 or less items for me. I did not try sale prices yet.
