Often there are just as good as BF sales before and after, might spend abit more but definitely worth it unless you are into spending time in long lines and fighting people over it. I generally find all the things I want on sale at or around that time and don't have to even leave the house. You do kinda of have to know what you want etc, alot of things are now being offered online as well as in store

I saw some Paris theme items in Target clearance, pics and Effiel tower statues etc.....I did the room thing also, the kids would get something for their room, might be a comforter or blankets, lots of pillows to create a bed/sofa type thing going on, if getting something like an ipod touch-then accessorys to go with it, itune cards etc....I think girls are easy to shop for, usually clothes or GC's, items from Claires, Justice, even Hot Topic usually thrill them, games that are for tweens, art supplies or even cool school supplies (like for lockers), lights for their rooms that are cool like lava lamps or similar, my daughter is into books-so lots of books and CD's

I did this awhile back and it didn't ask that LOL Now I guess all of us won't get it that submitted without sending in sales receipt

don't forget to look in the scratch and dent, most furniture stores have a section, we have picked up great pieces that we couldn't even find the problem....

oh yes, I could see that......is there 2nd hand shops that might have something nice...have you looked online at Walmart, they have futons not sure about daybeds and maybe JcPenney? online

I would suggest craigslist or similar places also.....My daughter has a full bed that has a footboard and headboard that come up pass the mattress (her bed sits against the wall), we just put pillows all around like a couch, more comfortable and bigger than most daybeds. You can get long pillows and get really cute coverings, now is the time for the bigger pillows (dorm room stuff)

gopro cams, that would be funny to watch the chaos unfold LOL I don't usually go out, the kids are pass toys (they are 16 and 17) so most stuff they want I can get online...actually I try to get everything online, its usually like zero degrees for our BF

don't forget Craigslist, I got both mattress sets for the teens at fabulous price and they were top notch sets in good condition. My daughters came with a beautiful bedframe, they had other furniture for their room already but those came from Craigslist too. Also at furniture stores, most have a scratch and dent section, usually good deals and the damage usually is minimal

I don't want it to go that fast, my daughter is a senior and want it to go slow.....I so can turn back the clock. I wonder how many people are still paying off last holiday season.......

I got the kids ones several years ago when Staples had the reward program, they were something like $40 something after reward (might have been a rebate don't remember which one)

I had that happen with batteries, got charged more than the clearance price. They honored the price and then went a pulled the item, someone had clearance tagged the whole batch of batteries. I guess their dcpi's didn't match up (tag to item) but they still honored it. I haven't had too many ones that didn't ring up right but they have always given me what was on the tag...We are in smaller area, maybe why I have seen this happen.

Just reading that Kohls has changed their Kohls cash policy on returns. It use to be you could return something and get merch credit and still retain kohls cash, from what I heard, that is no longer their policy. I don't know if some stores are reading the policy or intrepeted it differently but our store always let me return items get merch credit and retain kohls cash. Anybody had recent returns in the last couple of weeks that was able to retain kohls cash on merch credit? . If merchandise purchased earning a Kohl’s Cash® Coupon is subsequently returned or price adjusted, the value of the Kohl’s Cash® Coupon previously earned and/or the amount of the merchandise refund will be reduced to reflect any unearned value. Agree, that is exactly what has happened with me. I only go every couple of weeks, was in there twice a week before.
