  1. Wow - the Valentine's aisles were really cleared out today! I wasn't able to go yesterday, but still managed some good 75% off finds:

    (2) Girls' VDay tees $1 (love these, because I got the nondescript with hearts that Cai can wear year-round)

    (2) Girls' VDay embellishment tees $1.25 (same as above)

Girls' denim skirt with embroidered hearts $2.49

    Free Choxie bar

    (2) VDay My Little Pony $1.25 (had to take these to Customer Service to get price override; rang up at regular price on the price checkers)

    (2) 10-pk Minute Maid apple juice boxes $0.69 (still had even more on the shelf, but only in apple juice)

  2. Finally found some markdowns I can use @ my Target:

Girls' Mora sneakers $3.74 (original $14.99)

Girls' Lyla sneakers $3.74 (original $14.99)

Girls' Hello Kitty black mary janes $3.74 (original $14.99)

Dora the Explorer rain poncho $1.74 (original $6.99)

    Girls' Inflatabed $4.98 (original $19.99)

They had plenty of the elephant tents, but I think DD is getting a little too big for them. Although, I just now saw the posts about the Eddie Bauer screened room, so I'll have to go back and see if there's any at my store.

  3. Even though I was a day late for the toys, I still managed to pick up the following for less than $50 (all clothes are in the girls' department):

  4. Walgreens had them in their weekly ad for $10 (good through Dec 9th). I have no idea how they compare to Office Depot though.

  6. Thanks for all of the input!! You guys are great!!

I bought the Leapster. I didn't spend the extra for the TV, as I don't really think he will use it that way.

It is on sale this week at Walmart in a bundle with a case, game and the leapster for $59! The game itself was $17.99 and the case was $15.99 - so I think it was a great deal! My local Walmart didn't have any, so I bought it online with 97¢ shipping.

I did buy 2 games at K-mart - the $17.99 ones, to get one at 1/2 price. I wanted the CARS one, but there wasn't a lot of other ones in the $25 category that I wanted. So, I printed off the $5 off coupon from Toys R Us and will use it on the CARS game there. It is on sale for $19.99 right now.

Thanks again for the input!! Happy Shopping!

Glad you got a great deal! I know my 5-yr old loves her Leapster (she actually plays it more than our PlayStation2).

  7. One of my favorites is from when I was a kid. We would always go up to our land to cut down a 12' tree. After we got it home and decorated it, my brothers and I would turn out all the lights and lay underneath the tree looking straight up. It seemed so magical!
  8. My daughter hasnt put it down since it arrived..LOL

:yup: Mine keeps going back through and circling additional items with the comment "I missed that before", so needless to say, nearly every item in the entire catalog is now circled!
