  1. Didn't work for me. cashier scanned it, stated that it had already been used. No argument from me, thanks for trying.
  2. Hudson Valley area: Marlboro, Poughkeepsie - that's 90 minutes from LI.

  4. Thanks Mcmorris, looks like a nice little toy - 3 in my local CVS in NYS -plus the 8pk of Energizer Max batteries for .29 and I'm all set.

  6. Great deal on mostly PS2 games, get them while you can at $24.XX tax and shipping. Decent titles too! I just can't get myself to pull the trigger on this one since we are getting a Wii system for XMas.
  7. Missed Dell and CC Zune deals - any new clearances, please post. I'd be happy to wait until 2/1 if it meant I'd be getting one for $96.
  8. Thanks, Smallwood. I bought one. It appears that the batteries do not plug into a wall socket but into the Wii console via USB. The USB plug has two jacks on the other end to charge two wii-motes at the same time. However, the wireless sensor bar must also use the same charging plug, when needing to be charged. Still a good deal.
  9. It appears that the rechargable battery packs may have to be removed from the wii-mote to charge and conbnect to the Wii USB port. I had heard that this is not as desirable as plugging a charger into a wall and takes longer - plus it's a little messier than a tabletop charging stand. Doesn't the Wii console come with cable connections - why is the component cable needed? Do the sports accessories even work? I had read a few bad reviews. The wireless sensor bar sounds good - I'm just not sure that this stuff is the best route to go.
  10. Wolf - you forgot to add in the $8 per 2 lb bag cost of the flops $8 + $8 shipping = $16 total per 2 lb = $8/lb. What are they even bothering with this? - I wish I lived anywhere near the factory, though.
  11. $8.34 shipping for one bag = $8.17 / lb $9.17 shipping for two bags = $7.58 / lb This is 2X the price available for 'fresh' flops thru ebay - no great deal here. I thought the flops were available in the factory shops for $4 per 2lb bag, nice try. You can purchase real approved, perfect Jelly Belly's at retail for $5.99 / lb.
  12. Samsung 1gb mp3 player on clearance in Poughkeepsie, NY - Had 2 left this afternoon (end cap in electronics, locked rack) Thanks for the heads up. Very good deal. :)
  13. I picked up the last Pink Dyson Vaccuum for $199.50. I couldn't resist as those babies are never on any kind of decent sale - it's just PINK (and purple) for Breast Cancer Awareness. Supposedly, $40 of the purchase price is to be donated to the Komen Foundation (or something like that).
  14. Bastards - they should have given us a choice to cancel the rest of our order. A code for free shipping was the best they could do?
  15. Thanks, nice deal - got a few other sale items too, so Avon got what they needed too!
  16. FYI - I just read a local story about the Dell Inspiron 5150 having a known mother board problem. At around 14 months of use, the unit overheats causing the motherboard to warp and shut down power permanently. Of course, this happens after the 12 month warranty has expired. I don't know if this has been fixed or if Dell is liquidating this product line because of this problem. Do an internet search on this topic to learn more. I'm not a computer or notebook expert, but just thought everyone should be aware that this 'deal' may not be the best solution for your family. http://www.recordonline.com/archive/2005/10/23/consumer.htm
