I used to be a secretary for a Kirby office. they will definitely come down, our reps sold them for well under $1,000 at times. really depends on the rep and such. Sometimes it is better to talk to the owner of the store, as they can come down more than the reps. Good luck, Kirby's really are great. I am not fond of the way they are sold though!

We have two of these, got them last year from JCP when they were on sale. They are really cute but they will NOT ride on the grass, just thought you all might like to know that. They were perfect for my 2 year old and 3 year old then. They are too big for it now but they used it all the time in the driveway.

LOL!! Hey maybe she will follow in your footsteps and have her book published. she is writing one off and on right now. she won't let me read it until it is finished though!! I have to admit the suspence is killing me. She is a very creative writer and I love to read her short stories for class.

I have never had a problem price matching with sears but it has to be EXACT same thing. I hope this helps. TRU price matched last year here but it had to be in stock at the store the ad was for and they actually checked. They had a phone book and called the store! LOL!
