  1. wonder if their potty chairs are on clearance? I'm needing one of those. Thanks for the heads up. Oh! And I've heard that the robeez knock off shoes (in the infant dept) are ringing up 50% off too. I'll hopefully get to my store later today to check it out. :)

Potty chairs are on clearance at my Target. Not all of them but a few. They were about 30% off. They also had the little seats to put on the regular toilet seat so they don't fall in. Those were marked down to $4. I got 2 of those. My kids won't go in a potty chair! LOL! My DS 19 months and DS 2 1/2 are starting to train and my 19 month old will only sit on the potty chair fully clothed but he will sit on the big toilet anytime. Crazy!

  2. My sons are 3 and 4 and have the thomas set. Do you think they are too old for this? I was thinking of this for next Christmas which means they will be 4 and 5.

Also, do you have any coupon codes for JCPenny?

    Thanks, Lori

These are very fun sets that would definitely be good for a 4 or 5 year old. My 9 and 13 year old play with their 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old brother's set. Great Christmas gifts. That is what we did this year and they are a blast.
  3. I went to my Target today and found some great clearance deals. Pampers Easy Ups Mega Pack for $7.24 (50% off), tennis shoes for my ds for $4.24 (75% off), a sweater for my other ds for $2.98 (75% off), and some other stuff. Seems like more things are going to the 50% and 75% markdowns.

Thanks for the heads up. I went to 2 targets today and stocked up on the easy ups and they had size 6 supreme diapers on clearance for $2.49. I really hit the jackpot with those. I have 2 in diapers and every little bit helps.
  4. I just walked in from 2 targets and one was 30% with a few items ringing up 75%. The other target was 75%. I think it is weird that they are so different and only about 5 miles away from each other. My daughter's best friend's birthday is in Feb and we were able to get her a ton of stuff. That was fun. More girl stuff is left than boys but very nice stuff. Also, found lots of baby/toddler items on clearance, including diapers. I spent about $40 and got 2 polly pocket sets, a my little pony set, a Winx club fairy (?) set, matchbox carwash, matchbox garage, 2 jumbo packs of size 6 diapers, 2 mega packs of pamper easy ups, 6 pack of toddler bowls and a step 2 convertable sofa with 2 cup holders (turns into a bed). I am pleased. This target went from 30 to 75% in just a matter of a few days so hang in there everyone!!! Happy hunting!
  5. I am very disappointed in the portable DVD player I got from Target on Black Friday. It was a Kawaski 9", and the first one didn't work out of the box, neither did the 2nd. I returned it today and just got my money back. What a waste of time and effort. Not to mention the stress of having to return something to Target to begin with.

We bought the dual kawasaki portable dvd player and had the same problem. You would think that would be a good brand. Oh well!!
  6. I'm not getting one until hubby's b'day to assure they have worked most of the bugs out...

Yea, us too. My son was all excited about this until everyone here was complaining about it "crashing" and overheating. I hope they figure out the problems real quick. Doesn't seem quite fair to sell something so expensive and then worry if it's not going to work right. Good luck everyone. Hope you all score one without a fight!!!

  7. I just recently had a similar problem with the mega block sale. The sign clearly said B1G1 on ALL mega blocks. Well, the wagons I picked up were ringing up full price and 1/2 price on the second. I took the service desk girl over to the sign and she read the same thing I did and got mad and said the wagons were not included. I asked her to show me where she got that information and she could not tell me. I then asked for the manager (who never came) and the girl at the desk adjusted the price for me and another group of people who were mad that they were charged incorrectly. The girl behind the desk still insisted that the items were not included in the sale even though the sale sign clearly stated ALL mega blocks. TRU is not the greatest with customer service.
  8. We have a $2.00 fee on our "VISA" gift cards here. Our mall sells these "credit cards" that can be used anywhere that accepts VISA cards. We buy them every year. We are the favorite Aunt and Uncle because of it!!! LOL!! Our nieces and nephews love having their own credit card and can spend the money at any store they want. I think it is well worth the $2 fee charged for this kind of a card. Now, if I knew they would all shop at WM or Target, I would opt for the no fee GC from them. They are really cute this year!!! LOL
  9. I have gotten so many great deals from this site but I would have to say that my best find or maybe most important to my daughter for the season was a Nintendo DS special edition teal nintendogs bundle for $129.82 from Walmart.com. It turns out that they made a mistake on the price and put it in for the regular DS price and it was removed off the site after I purchased it. I would have posted it here but that was before I knew about this wonderful forum. You all have helped me to make a great holiday for my loved ones with the great deals you all have shared. Thanks so much!!
  10. They will deduct the $50 from your refund amount. For example: if the MP3 player cost $150, when you return it, they will only give you a refund of $100. This has happened to me before. I bought something that came with a gift card, used the gift card and then the item I bought was defective. They refunded me the item price minus the gift card amount. This is done automatically by the computer when they scan your receipt. Maybe if you return it without a receipt?? But then I think they charge a restocking fee like CC does. I dunno about that but good luck!
  11. Anyone know if this would apply to a Nintendo DS from Target?

We have 2 Target's nearby and they both charge 15% restocking fee. They do charge the fee on Nintendo DS if it is open or not defective. This is kind of subject to how nice the person is that is helping you. They CAN override the fee if they want to. I know this because I used to work for Target. If it is defective, there is no questions asked. I have taken back a used electronic one time at Target but it was defective and actually, I wanted to exchange it and they no longer carried it. I was refunded my money with no problems.

As far as blacklisting customers, Walmart here does that. They will allow only a certain $ (last year it was about $100.00) amount in returns without a receipt in a year's time. If you have a receipt they don't blacklist you, only without one (atleast here anyway). My parents live close to a Walmart in TN and are always buying clothes for my 2 toddlers that don't fit. Well my mom never keeps her receipts so I am forced to take back and exchange without a receipt here in FL. I was cut off one time. More and more places are cutting down on returns without receipts and used items. I don't blame them a bit.
