  1. Add me to the list of taking my kids. Not a sob story, but last year my husband was deployed and i had my 2 yr old and 4 mo old. They were fully clothed with my 2 yr old in her stroller and blanket, 4 mo old was in the Baby Bjorn. We waited in the car at TRU until the line started growing, they opened the store early, so we were only outside for 10-15 minutes...it was not as busy as I thought it was going to be. I would not wait outside for hours though with little ones. Mine was a quick, go to a couple stores, and go home. The kids did great (the 4 mo old slept pretty much the whole time) and the 2 year old LOVED it, chatting everyone we met. She didn't want to go home *ha* This year my husband "should" be around, but I haven't seen anything yet that would get me up early this year.
  2. Great deal! I ordered a couple packs...one for me for my grocery lists and one for my 2 yr old who LOVES Blues Clues (now she has her own "notebook!") Thanks!
  3. I love Kohls!!! Unfortunately, the nearest one is 2 hours from me And, I don't have a Kohls card, but fully intend on applying for one next time I'm near a store. I bought my daughter's Lifestyle Deluxe Kitchen a few weeks before BF, it retails for $199 plus shipping. They had it for $179 + another 20% off and free shipping. I used a 10% off code online and ended up paying $129+ $40 surcharge (guess it's how they get away without charging shipping) + tax! Overall, I ended up saving $30 plus around $50 shipping so I'm happy with that. I just wish there was one closer!! I love their clothes......
  4. I gotta say Toys R Us on this one. I drove by BB to see if it would even be worth it trying to get in when they opened and that was a joke. So, I went up to Toys R Us since they were not going to open for another hour. The line was barely there so I waited in the car with my 2 kids until 1/2 hour before they opened. The line started growing so we got out and only had to wait for about 15 minutes before they opened the doors early!!!!!! Yeah!!!!! Everything was neat and employees were all around and very helpful. I was in and out in 10 minutes flat......so unlike the 1 1/2 hours I was in the checkout line for BB.
  5. Having 2 kids, 2 1/2 and 3 months....I drove through our BB lot at 5am figuring they would've opened the doors and maybe I could squeeze in and pick up the DVDs I wanted...HA ha ha ha ha ha! What a zoo! So, I rushed to Toys R Us figuring I'd come back and see what had been picked through. Toys R Us was great and opened their doors early...in and out in 10 minutes! Then, it was back to BB who looked like things were settled down....until I found the check out line!! Whoa mama! I waited in this thing for 1 1/2 hours, the checkout line was so slow. They had us starting at the back of the building and winding around isles and their large appliance barracades. Thank God my 3 month old slept most of the time and my 2 1/2 year old found pleasure in playing with their large appliances and kitchen setups along the way (that and poptarts and jello snacks.) Trust me, I would not have taken them if I didn't have to. Unfortuanately, that wasn't possible. All in all, I got pretty much what I wanted there and aside from the wait in the checkout line everyone was pleasant and friendly. No Grinches this year!!!! I can just see all this stuff up on ebay within the next couple days too......just happy I was able to get what I wanted and don't have to pad the pocket of someone else this year!
  6. I'll be jogging down to get the paper when the kids wake up. Bundle them up and get my workout in before the holiday feast and mulling over the ads. I already know what I need to get, I just like looking at everything and checking out the deals:D
