money is always an object for a college student anyways. The response time on this Olevia lcd tv is 12ms while the Soyo I mentioned earlier has 8MS. BOth can be had for the same price just about. I just wish I had more feedback on the Soyo but its relatively new. amazon barely started to sell it last month I think -

hehe that would be nice but not everyone has 1700 to chunk around! hehe. Man thats bad to hear about Soyo, they are a california based company right? Does that mean their products are made here? can anyone check their mobo box and see where it was made? thanks -

This product seems to have great feedback on amazon and tigerdirect. Also, There's a newly released Soyo DYLT032A 32" Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV for 949 after 100 mail in rebate at tiger direct. The spec's look good, good contrast ratio and 8ms response time, just no consumer reviews readily available. Something more economical could be the ViewSonic NextVision 17.1" Widescreen LCD Flat Panel HD-Ready TV for 449 at amazon. There's also a 100 MIR (available at datavisioncomputer dot c0m). so that would make it 370 after shipping. Does anyone know more about the Soyo company? Are their products manufactured here? thanks
