  1. I just want to say, it's people like this that make getting in line earlier and earlier each year a requirement and not just a suggestion!! Maybe I miss read the ads, but did BB or WM have a 199 laptop deal? Or 50in HDTV for $499?? If not, my plans will stay the same and get into line after Thanksgiving dinner!
  2. They just finished building a new Shopko, on the other side of town, I can't believe they are going out of business!
  3. Shopko and Home Depot are the last two ads I am waiting for. I feel so sorry for people who do not have a shopko near them, shopko ranks right up there next to Target as my favorite clearance place!!!
  4. MY SIL did it last year, she got her wake up call as she was checking out of Toys R us Only about 4 hours late They are cute, but I wouldn't use that as your only option for getting up on the Best Shoppping Day of the YEAR!!!
  5. The only reason there will be a shortage, is cause I beleive this is their marketing technique. It worked last time, so the decided to do it again!

    Disney DVDs on BF???

I think 13-14 bucks is the best price you are going to get before Xmas, there might be some store that does it for 12.99, but I doubt it. You also have to think Aladdin was a re-release, unlike Cars, where it is the first time anyone has the chance to get it.
  7. We are only a few weeks away, we NEED the ads. Maybe I need to go to Philly and show her how its done
  8. Isn't it a little to early for retailers to start getting blitz items in???? Let alone bring them into the store from storage areas???? We are still 27 days away, most large retailers rent/use semi-trailers to store extra product during the holidays season. I am just as excited as everyone else, I just can see them loading the pallets in the store this early! However, we need an ad, and we soon!!!! :D
  9. Our BB last year also passed out Krispy creme donuts, coffee, hot cocoa, or hot apple cider. They also had a couple of huge outdoor heaters, but you had to be close to the front of the line to enjoy the heat, since they were for thier employees; who were outside passing out tickets and keeping things peaceful. Someone in line had brought a radio and had xmas music playing the whole night, which I thinks people in the spirit of the season. Hard to want to fight when the Chipmunks are singing, "All I want for Xmas is my two front teeth"!
  10. Kohls BF 2005 was great! I bought every variety they had of the Geo Tracks last yr, can't go wrong with 50% off on the new line of trains they had. Do they normally have a good deal on kitchenaid mixers on BF? I am wanting to get a ice blue on for MIL this yr.
  11. Can't wait for the new book!!! My 5 yr old still thumbs thru last yrs book (sheets of paper that use to be bond together) when ever he wants me to know what he might want as a surprise gift!
  12. Last year we went to BB right around 930pm the night before and was about 10th in line, my husband and I took turns sitting in line, while the other slept and kept warm in the car. Its great if you can get a buddy system, especially if you live in South Dakota like myself. Our best buy starts handing out tickets around 2 am for items you are wanting to purchase, both my husband and I took a ticket for the emachine. One computer went to my son, who was overjoyed with having his very own computer. The other went to a co-worker who was to lazy to go herself, mind you there was a $100 markup after I re-sold it to her.
