I still have my elmo cookie tin. I use it to store special christmas deco. We use to decide the best freebies, best deals, best prices. Seemed like Target use to always win out. Best Buy did freebies for a little bit. I remember Mervyns having a line wrapped around the building just for the freebie plus you got an extra off coupon of some sort. If you are military....the BX has a free $20.00gift card the day after thanksgiving thru Sunday. The last 3 years I have been there Fri,Sat,Sun for the gift card, plus they price match, plus there is no tax on base. This has really been the best for me. My husband retired this year from the Air Force and we live about 45minutes from the base, so I don't know if I'll make it

I noticed this today also. I found an engraving tool thing that was scanning "item not found" I was about to go thru my usual drill of "my friend got it for $4.98", but she rescanned and pressed something and the original price of $69.99 rang up. I hope they haven't figured out how to overpass "item not found" I've used the my friend drill several times to get things, including the Power Ranger helmet (thank you lovetoshopCA). I did scan the Cars helmet sets and they all rang up $19.99. My target still had the bike attachment/ride along at 75%. I did score on window curtains and sheers. All 75% off. I finally put up window treatment and my DS8 says "WOW, this house is finally looking like a home" We have security shutters, so its not like we don't "shut down" for the evening. But I didn't have sheers or curtains up. Now, thanks to Target, I covered 3 rooms! Prices ranged from $2.98 to $6.98 after the 75% off. Rugs were also being reset to a different location with 75% off also.

Went to Lancaster, CA Target and school supplies were being marked down to 75%. I stayed right there with the ladies as they scan and tagged. Fitting that I too was wearing khaki pants and a red top! HEHE I got the 4pack of Kleenex boxes for .74 cents from $2.99. I got 4 of those (3 teachers and 1 for me) I also got tons of 24 count pencils @.24cents and 60 count pencils @.98. All Three of the kids teachers are requesting these as well. Lots of notebooks/glue/markers/etc... The backpacks were still 50%. The Palmdale, Ca is still 30% only 7 miles between the 2, but the savings are sooo much different.

Okay, I was on a Target mission today. I went to the Target in Palmdale and the school supplies were still at 30%, however, I did grab the $2.00 off coupons from the OFF Lanterns that were not marked down at all. Only the Mosq Lamps were 75% from $7.99 to $1.98 I used several coupons on that (5 @$1.98 less four $2.00 coupons/5 for $2.72). I then went to the Target in Lancaster and the Off Lanterns were 75%, but no coupons, however, I still had 2 left from early and was able to get the Lanterns for $1.98 (Orig. $12.99). Their school supplies were 50% and their summer outdoor items were 75%. They had tons of backpacks! I got a Smith & Hawken dial thermometer for $1.98!! and I got a garden hose hanger for $3.24 (078010180) So I was quite pleased and will quietly hawk the school supplies until they are 75%.

Great job. I've been reading all the post on them, my Target doesn't have anymore. My Target is also still at 30% for the school supplies, some backpacks are 50%, I'm waiting for lovetoshop to post when SGV Targets drop to 75% so I can clean them out of school supplies. I want to get some for the teachers.

I did get this coupon in Sunday paper, but thanks for posting the website. My Walgreens is keeping my cartridge until tomorrow night due to the response. But they were very nice and didn't seem overwhelmed with people, which was nice not to have to deal with crabby cashiers.

I went to my CC here in Southern California and there was a sign already posted that "due to XBOX shipping problems the Skate game would not be released until Friday at 3:00pm, therefore, they would not be honoring the $20 gift card policy". Oh well, it was a try. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up. I also got the Power Rangers Mega Mission Helmet. I saw it and since I read your post, decided to scan it. It rang up "Item not Found" I went to the cashier and told him that it was suppose to be $4.48 (couldn't remember the exact amount you said) and he gave it to me at that price. Oh, by the way this was at the Palmdale Target, up the FWY:yup: from you. I use to live in Covina, so I love to read your posts about my old haunts!!

My DH ha been buggin me to get a set for him. Don't know??? since his regular cologne is over $50.00, but he wants to try it. Guess if I can get it at my local Target for this price I'll have to pick one up. Thanks for the heads up.

I just got back from Target in So. Cal and got a wall fountain for $19.98. It was originally $79.99. 75% brought it done to $19.98. Few other outdoor deco items marked down 75%. But not the BBQ items, still at 30-50%. I am eyeing the outdoor garden tool items. I would love to get a gardening hat. They were putting out the halloween items also.

I just got back from Target and did the same thing. Left coupons on the things I wouldn't be buying today. I have the kids go up and down the aisle, the love doing it!

WOW, you know the date last year something went 75% off. Thats awesome. I couldn't tell you monday of this week wht went on sale. I rely on gottadeal so much!! You guys are fantastic!!

I agree. We just celebrated my 6 year old b-day this week and everything had to be HSM. Even the gift bag sang "We're all in this together" its crazy!! The gift bag singing!! She loved everything though. We are now on HSM2 count down. Tomorrow (Friday) is going to be unbearable for the boys in this family.
