How difficult do you think it would be to get a Navigon at Staples? If I go arrive around 6:00 am, would I get a chance to grab one?

From Navigon Site: "What is your general policy with respect to map updates? NAVIGON plans to make map updates available every 12 months to any given product until such time that the product is phased out of production. Updates will be made available online via navigon.com or via DVD to registered users. The first map update for newly launched NAVIGON brand products will be available Q1 2008." They don't mention the cost.

Is lane assist not available on Navigon 2100?

I think I will go with the Navigon too.

There is a video on you tube about Navigon 2100. The start up time was around 70 secs. I cacot post links but you will see if you search youtube for navigon 2100. The title of the video is Navigon 2100 Power-Up Time and the sender is chadDOTcc. Interesting to see.

The Navigon 2100 sounds good but the bad feedback makes me wonder how reliable it is. I currently have a 2 year old Garmin i2 which is the basic of basic GPS out there. I need an upgrade at least to a color screen. How would Mio compare to Navigon as a brand? And thanks for all the info displayed here, very informative.
