i was told that the AV came with a rebate...and coincidentally they ran out of the software and told me to come back later in the week to pick it up....

does anyone have a scan of the instructions and customer service phone #'s for AOL installation that CC gave out (on receipt paper)? Did it have any information on cancellation penalities? Thanks

i am from hayward, ca and the same thing happened to me. they started handing out $299 deals to the next 15 people though. it was the same as the $199 laptop only with some software preinstalled. later they ended up running out of the software, and still charged us the 299...and they're making us go back to pick up the software. what an inconvenience
