I did see some smaller kits featuring the conversation hearts, cake mix and frosting. They only make 8 cupcakes. There was another with Sweet Tarts - same thing... They were too small for our family and so I passed on them. -

Hello everyone. :) A brief Colorado update for ya. Our store has a BUNCH of LOREAL make-up on clearance on the end caps in HBA. Bring your coupons in and you can score some really good deals. CAMP ROCK Twin size flannel sheet sets and fleece throws for $4.xx each. (Sorry - cant find the numbers for those) ###062 16 0169 Target HOME Twin Ultra Soft Sheet Set 250 TC (dark brown) was $29.99 now $7.48 ###062 16 0165 Target HOME Twin Ultra Soft Sheet Set 250 TC (ivory) was $29.99 now $7.48 One new thing I started doing is pulling up the Target weekly sales on www.couponmom.com and matching them to Target printable coupons and ones I have on hand. I bought boxes of PopTarts last week for .67 a box. A sale is a sale! :) One question - do they ever drop the prices of the GB clearance items below 75% before they go salvage? By the way - I did see several January salvaged Target items at our local Goodwill - already on the shelves. So if you missed something - perhaps a trip to the Goodwill will help. -

I depend on the comments from the fellow shoppers to help me decided whether or not to buy something. Example - I decided against the FP DVD player and decided to buy Crammer because of the comments in this thread. I too wondered about the Air Hogs and decided against buying them because of a lack of feedback. (I have also searched high & low for a Foreman deep fryer because of the recommendations in this group... Didn't find one - but I looked!) I think if we keep it on topic - in reference to items that are on clearance - the thumbs up or thumbs down comments are a necessary addition to the discussion. We are all here to help and the extra advice is very much welcomed in my opinion. JMHO. :) -

Thank you for the heads up. I need to head over there to look for more jeans for my husband. Worth checking out... :) The stores I went to today were Parker rd & Arapahoe -- Gartrell and E-470. Another good one is up north off of I-76 and 136th ave. It's in the middle of nowhere - a SuperTarget and LOTS of stock. Worth the drive. Good to see another Colorado shopper here! -

Here is a portion of my haul today. Toys are now 75% off at all 4 Target stores in my area (SE Aurora (Denver) Colorado. I was very surprised to see the great selection available here... I was beyond thrilled to find the actual Rose Petal cottage on sale. : My daughter's b-day is Saturday (turning 4) and this along with the other RP items I picked up it is sure to be a hit. What a lucky girl to have her b-day at the end of 75% off toys month (I mean January)! I am happy :) but bummed that my DH's work jeans were on clearance (Wrangler Black Carpenter jeans - 75% off). This probably means they will not carry them anymore now. Holiday food like stuffing and gravy was on special at 50% off. I need to take inventory, but I think I am pretty set for the first 6+ months of 2009 for gifts. This is the first time I have followed the sales this closely (thanks to all of you) and I am so happy to have a stash of great gifts for upcoming parties. ###086050281 Rose Petal Cottage $21.24 ###087062062 Transformers Standoff Beneath the Streets $7.48 ###087021463 Star Wars Clone Trooper Blaster Game $12.48 ###086050282 Rose Petal Nursery $9.98 ###086022258 Sleeping Beauty w/ Princess Bed $6.24 ###086050170 Rose Petal Table & Chairs Set $3.74 ###086022288 Bratz Girlz Really Rock YASMIN $5.48 ###091010801 Rubbermaid Blue Ice (Cold packs for camping/picnics) $.48 ###086002521 Magnext System $14.98 ###082060019 Dora Adjustable Quad Skates $8.74 ###086022306 TinkerBell Style_N-Share Tink $6.24 ###042090479 Wrangler Originals Black Carpenter Jeans Mens $4.24 ###087061493 Battle Armor Batman & Bruce Wayne $1.48 ###086022287 BRATZ Fashion & Fragrance designed by Jade $5.48 There were FP DVD players at the Parker Rd & Arapahoe location today - I passed too after hearing the reviews. Looking foward to the next round of markdowns. Getting coupons ready! -

Hopped in the car - AGAIN - this morning at 8:00 am. The Target closest to my home (Quincy & Buckley - SE Aurora, CO) FINALLY went to 90% today. Surprisingly, there was a nice variety to choose from. My kids asked if they could have their own Christmas tree in their room next year. I found some cute 3' prelit trees for $2.49 each. I even found a really nice fiber optic tree for $2.49. Picked up some decorations for them. Got my iron pinecone candle holders - missed out on the bowl though. The cinnamon scented pinecones were only .79 each so I stocked up on them. The only candles that were offered at 90% off were a couple soy candles. Why are they holding on to the fall candles at 15-30% off is beyond me... I met a gal who was picking out some 12" (approx) ceramic trays (Santa and Snowman) for only .39 each. She uses them for gift plates for baked goodies. Makes for a really nice presentation! I was sold! I picked up 8 of them. Saved another $404 today! We are officially done shopping for Christmas 2009! : Now, I just need the toys to go down! I am so grateful for this thread. You all have posted some GREAT ideas and suggestions. I covered so many future bases and honestly have you all to thank. I learned a lot here!!! -

LOL! I feel like I was an employee of Target today since I spent hours there (4 different stores) today. I sorted through all of my finds today and determined what I still need and what to stay away from - as tempting as it may be... :) I am hoping to only spend another $20 and will be done. Here are some things I shopped for: Valentine's Day - boxes of candy and big red Hershey Kisses. I am even using the Nestle Swirl chocolate chips and picking out the red ones only to make cookies for the kid's school parties. Easter - I have lots of Easter things from last year's 90% off sale, I have some basket toys and Burt's Bees lip gloss (the red wristlet). Birthday Gifts - If you have grade school aged girls and their friends like Camp Rock, Hannah Montana or High School Musical, you are in GREAT shape! I bought musical globes, frames, posters, stickers, pens, toys, make-up kits, etc... Look in the holiday 90% off area as well as the dollar spot. My daughter can't wait for her friends to have a birthday now! Birthday Goodie bags - My daughter is turning 4 in a few weeks. We got the CUTEST goodie bag items at the dollar spot for 25 cents each. Lots of Hello Kitty items, the wooden toys (yo-yo, a ball game) necklaces, CARS - (the movie) items. They had some cute items in the 90% off area (Disney Princess suckers. Hannah Montana candy tins. Hershey Kiss candy holders...) They had some little felt Penguin gift bags that we are going to put everything in. :) I picked up some of the red boxed gift items (which really are pretty nice) to have on hand for upcoming men's gifts (birthday or Father's Day). We found things that we can use to decorate the house now - esp. the pinecone items, lights and garland (multi-colored stars). I am hoping to pick up a couple small trees tomorrow at 90% off. Our store had quite a few left. My daughter wants her own little tree in her room next year. :) I struck out on finding any home goods other than Electrasol... Hopefully some of these inspire ideas for some of you to think beyond Christmas as you shop this week. -

We have 2 Super and 1 reg Target nearby. One Super was 90% the rest were 75%. At the 90% I found several High School Musical, Hannah Montana and Camp Rock items. Snow globes, picture frames, make-up sets. I picked up enough to put together gift sets for upcoming birthdays. (I have a 10 year old daughter and she always had parties to go to...) I was really happy to come across some Folk Collection by Willi Raye items. Hoping to find more! The Dollar Spot was a goldmine this time around. My 3 year old daughter will be turning 4 on Jan 31st and so I bought all of her goodie bag items there. Hello Kitty, little toys and books. I also have a really nice stash of Camp Rock and batteries too. I only spent $60 something and saved well over $400! Yea Me! The Target closes to my home still has some iron pine cone items I am too cheap to spend $5.00 each on so I am REALLY hoping they go 90% tomorrow. Otherwise I am set! I love you guys! Thank you soooo much for the tips and the heads up on many items that I would have never thought of looking for. I love treasure hunting! -

Just got back from our store (Denver Metro) and they were still 75% (signs and scans). I only live a couple minutes away and so I will check later today. They still have quite the variety left and so when it hits 90% off I know I will be a happy camper. -

Well.. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know how you feel. I went into labor on Black Friday morning 1998. :) In that case I didn't make the sales... Going to a 90% off sale will be good for you. :) ______ If the stores are 90% tomorrow, I will be ready to spend the morning hitting 5-6 area ones in our area. I am so excited!!! (No, really, my husband is about to commit me! LOL!) -

LOVETOSHOPCA -- Yes - that is the quilt & sheet set that I picked up. It is not a cheap quilt by any means. Beautiful, thick, soft fabric. I was so excited to find it! They had the curtains too but only 1 panel. I think I will pick it up and look for another at another Target in our area. -

ALERT! I went through the automotive isle and found the car care gift sets (Armour All). They were on the shelf with the other regular priced car care items. I scanned it and the entire kit (which has maybe 6-8 full sized products) was $6.00 something -- 75% off. The packaging is not holiday based and so I think I will stash mine for a Father's Day gift! (Hopefully they are STILL there for 90% off day!) I shopped both the regular Target and a Super Target today. I did find the Electrasol at the Super Target only. Found 6 boxes there for $1.24 each. We are set for a few months. :) I found the Burts Bees wristlet (2 of them) at the regular Target store. Keep in mind that the stores vary on what they have - one store was sold out of paper while another had tons. It's worth the few hours you spend traveling to different locations. -
Regarding the coupon, if you cannot get it to work, then here is an option... Buy 1 item. At the bottom or back of the receipt there is a coupon for $10 off your next $30 purchase - all you have to do is complete a survey. Go outside, call the number from your cell or pay phone. Complete the survey, come back in and use the survey coupon for your purchase. Every receipt I have gotten from them has the coupon. :)

Aurora, CO I just came back from our 75% off sale and did pretty well. There was a lot of gift wrap and gift bags available. I was able to buy several rolls of neutral paper, tissue and ribbon (can be used for any occasion) and LOTS of holiday gift bags. There were several large Camp Rock & Hannah Montana gift sets (hair accessories, lip gloss, etc...) that were included in the 75% off display area. They were not located anywhere else in the store. They didn't scan at a discounted price, so I asked an employee about it. Long story short, they thought they were placed there by mistake (even though they were in that location the entire holiday season) but they were willing to honor the 75% off. They told me when I went to the check stand to have the cashier call for a price check and they would confirm that they were 75% off. The cashier didn't call it back and just took 75% off. In some cases she took 75% off the already discounted price! I didn't ask for it, just got it. :) $2.50 was the average cost for each - many lower! I am thrilled because I save these gifts sets for birthday parties that come up through the year. (I have a 10 year old daughter.) I also found several boxes of candy - the good stuff - for 75% off. Great for Valentines Day. THANK YOU to all who suggested Easter basket goodies! I completely forgot about that and so you saved me a ton! I need to go back now! :) -

Aurora Colorado (Denver) was still 50% off. They had TONS of things too which surprised me. Try again tomorrow! -
Here are some that are good until 2/4/07 http://echo.bluehornet.com/static/chuckecheese/353105/coupon_us.htm
