We use swag bucks,and also Walmart savings catcher, and I always ask for gift cards for my birthday and Mother's Day (but I always wind up spending them before Black Friday). I try to keep money in Paypal as well as some cash on hand, as I buy a lot of gift cards for hubby. Other than that, I have a set rule that no matter how good the deal is - if the money isn't in the bank to pay the credit card bill - I don't buy it.

I LOVE reading all these great stories! Looks like more and more of our GottaDeal Family is rolling in! I started back in the 80's when my oldest kids were little - not sure if it was "Referred" to as Black Friday back then or not - but the deals were AWESOME and I loved the freebies from Cracker Jacks (that might have gift cards in them) to the snow globes.
