I would be honest with him and let him know that money is really tight right now - let him know that you want to get him something he really wants - and let him give you some less expensive suggestions. Kids understand more than we give them credit for sometimes - and knowing that money is tight might make him appriciate what he receives even more.

I wait and see what the sale ads have to offer. Then I make my list, check it twice and head for the stores.

We have 3 cats now (we just added one over the weekend) - I KNOW what you are talking about! Mine decided to "UNWRAP" a few of my gifts during the night the other night - I found them this afternoon and had to re-wrap - and they wanted to help with that, too! - Ughhhhhhhhhhh!

Yesterday I got on Walmart.com and saw a total of "4" flyers for my local area - this morning I logged on since 2 of the flyers expired yesterday and I though perhaps their "BIG SALE" flyer would be posted and there are now NO Flyers! Anyone else seeing flyers for their zip codes?

My DH got his Desktop on Thursday and the Printer came Saturday - but he stayed on them about it - called most every day - NOW the new problem - WHERE are the rebate forms?!? They didn't send them!

I got most of mine from The Dollar Tree - 40 square feet for $1.00 - not as great as Walgreens Deal - but I nabbed some of that, too.

I'm still shopping on the 26th! LoL! No... I have almost everything done... just a few finishing touches and a WHOLE LOT OF WRAPPING going on!
