I have always stated the day after Christmas for the next year - but this year we have had so many changes in the family and my health has been (not so great) that I have been totally unmotivated! My kids (now grown) except for one that is 13 are going to be devastated come Christmas as they are used to 200 + things surrounding the tree (and into other rooms)... but this year - not going to be that way... I am starting to shop little by little now that the sales are getting good - but to say I am anywhere NEAR done (or even started) would be the understatement of the year!

The stores BANK on the hopes that you don't bother with the rebates - a lot of people forget or wait too long and so they get the full price instead of the price you THOUGHT you were getting it for! It is amazing how many people buy stuff with rebates and NEVER take advantage of them!

The $3.00 appliances at Target have my girls excited as they have a lot of friends just getting their own 1st place - they can rack on on gifts for them... their jaws dropped - mine - not so much... still waiting on my jaw dropping ad... Getting down to the Walmart vrs. Amazon war!
